We have about 16 mph here and only raining slightly.
Tomorrow morning rush hour should be heavy rain and 20+ mph wind getting up to 40 MPH by about 5pm.

They’re saying our wind is 22 MPH and tomorrow morning it will be sustained winds of 30 to 45 MPH and gusts up to 70. They’ve scaled back the predictions. No rain yet.

Hope this thing is not as dire as the predictions. I already received an email from work saying non-essential employees have liberal leave tomorrow. And the radio station was / is advertizing phone numbers for claims ahead of time.

That much rain with high winds, sustained wind, is going to hurt......

Our wind warning starts at 6am Monday and remains in effect until 6pm Tuesday. We have clay and it won't absorb the rain. The field next to us, on the other side of the drive, becomes whitewater rapids during high rainfall.

At best we'll lose shingles and electricity from downed trees.
