Came to me by email referencing this link. I know nothing about the organization, but the conspiracy theories are working their way to the ragged edge of reality, it appears:
Have seen bits and pieces of this line of analysis since the first 48 hours, but this clip sums it up and is exactly what happened. The poor shlub who posted the 'video trailer' is being kept in federal prison somewhere in So. Cal. because he was an expendable useful idiot recruited by agents of the Muslim Bros here in the States. They fear that leaving him free would allow him to sing like a canary and deal the true death blow to Obama. This entire Egypt-Libya plot was concocted in Dec. 2011. This Western Journalism report is precisely right. It was designed to boost BHO's 'foreign policy profile' and it backfired because the Ansar-Al Sharia gang linked to Morsi and Al Qaeda and the Muslim Bros failed to reach Stevens, who was in the safe room, so they set the whole place ablaze, probably concluding (wrongly) that the fire and smoke would force him and Sean Smith out into the street where they could grab him and hold him for ransom until the courageous American POTUS came riding in on his magnificent charger and agree to exchange the blind sheik Rahman for Stevens.

Quite likely. However, it would be an explanation (though others exist) of why security was intentionally left lax, why no support was sent in, and why forces on the ground were ordered to stand down. In that scenario, the CIA guys who defied orders would have disrupted the scheme by turning things into an actual "hot" firefight.
And for some strange reason, which I read on another article, a drone was dispatched to cover the area before the attack took place.
The Ambassador may have come across information implicating Obama in something illegal or treasonous.

Yes! Allowing radical muzzies to kidnap Stevens would've given 0bama cover for fulfilling his promise to release the terrorist blind sheik in a trade. This was part of his radical agenda. Never mind about the other Americans in the compound who might be killed in the process. What the traitor 0bama didn't count on was the heroic intervention by two AMERICAN PATRIOTS, the SEALS.

In the absence of answers from the White House, people will begin speculating.
I myself cannot think of any reason why someone would lower security and then flat out deny military assistance in a situation where threats of violence are occurring... especially on the anniversary of 911 weeks before a presidential election UNLESS... this was far more than incompetence and more like an orchestrated October surprise.
A caller in to Hannity today made a very good observation that Hannity really didn’t pick up on very well.
These bozos in the white house were watching real time the events that were unfolding as these Navy Seals were requesting permission to go in and assist when they were told to stand down.
This means that observers in the white house were not content to just watch 4-5 servicemen and an ambassador be killed... they were prepared to watch at least 30 people be killed or ABDUCTED.... and the 4-5 navy seals pretty much foiled whatever plans had been laid to create a situation that Obama could manipulate and resolve right before the election.
That’s right... I think Obama actually set this thing up.
And until he is willing and able to come forth with viable answers as to what happened and why, I must assume as a matter of speculation that he had a hand in orchestrating this attack at some level... most likely by proxy.

This is significant as these drones are very slow flying and require a great deal of pre-flight planning and set up to get a mission off the ground. They are very bandwidth intensive and to have one in the air and then a reserve vehicle coming in at just the right time as replacement smells not of extensive planning but more of a premeditated plot!

This sounds possible. A planned “kidnap” which went horribly wrong because two CIA agents defied orders and went to help the Americans - something that neither Nobama or the “terrorists” expected. The “terrorists” took that as a set-up by Nobama and got really po’d even though Nobama ordered the stand-down in an attempt to stop the fight and more killing but it didn’t work. I read somewhere “Gretawire?” that an email has surfaced that stated - “This is not a terrorist attack” by the Administration - to stand down and that’s why help was not sent.
I really don’t care what a bunch of socialist idiots are amused by. Sometimes, conspiracies are real, so to dismiss any conspiracy theory as “BS” is just as foolish as believing any of them without evidence.

You NAILED it. This ONE fact makes this believable. WHY remove this security? They requested to STAY when they knew they were not being replaced. Request DENIED! The left tried to blame it on Republican budget cuts (ridiculous). The Republican budget didn't pass the Senate. In any case they were funded by the DOD, not State.
The preplanned “VIDEO” excuse went into full swing because the ambassador was MISSING for SEVEN hours. They thought their plan had succeeded!
