The voting group that no one is talking about......
November 3, 2012 | Ted Andrews

Call it the Evangelical vote or Value vote. I heard Rush talk about it a few days ago and an Evangelical in Ohio on FNC this morning. The Evangelical vote stayed home in 2008 but was back in full force in the 2010 mid-terms which were blow out wins for the GOP. Nothing has changed in 2012 and the Evangelicals are going to be deciding factors in many races nationwide.

This is what Evangelicals have seen over the last few years.

1. Obama's assault on marriage, life and contraception 2. Obamacare (need I say more) 3. The attack on faith based institutions 4. The booing of God at the DNC Convention 5. The booing of Jerusalem as Israel's Capitol at the DNC Convention. 6. The attacks on Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock for their personal views on abortion. (Especially Mourdock's because they are attacking his religious faith)

I think Evangelicals have seen and heard these attacks and know what is at stake. I think that the polls do not show this since most pollsters are concerned about "weighting" their polls. Just as pollsters have been oversampling democrats in polls to levels that are not realistic for 2012, I bet they have under sampled Evangelicals in their polls to a level that is also not realistic. Rush as even said that nearly all pollsters are acting like 2010 never happened. The Evangelical vote is going to be more of a factor next week than they were in 2010. I think we are in store for an epic surprise on Tuesday night.

We’ve been attending the same church for about 20 years, and this is the first time I have ever heard the pastor speak on voting, and making sure you’re voting with the party that believes in Biblical principles...which he then went on to enumerate: pro life, pro same sex marriage, and pro Israel. Our pastor then went on to explain why he’ll have no problem voting for a President who is a Mormon. He said he’s not voting for a pastor, he’s voting for a President.

Then on the radio I heard John MacArthur say the same thing and Billy Graham ads have been in the last couple of weeks.

I’ve read articles from black Evangelicals who are saying exactly the same thing to their congregations.

No secret weapon Joshua. The religious right has a track record in coming out in drives on elections. 2012 will be no exception. The PUMAS were a one time thing and did not show up. (Typical democrats)

I work for a high-profile Christian publisher that is suing the Obama administration and HHS. Four years ago I’d bet 30 percent of our company, which is very conservative voted for Obama. I’d be shocked if Obama exceeded five percent this year and our turnout will be 80+ percent.

I am in total agreement. As an evangelical Christian I was not going to vote for Romney because he is a member and leader of a cult. But that all changed. The straw that broke the camels back was when Emperor Obamessiah circumvented the Congress and the will of the American people by giving amnesty and U.S. benefits to millions of ILLEGAL ALIENS through an "Executive Order". That was the final insult. Obama is ruling by fiat; he is a Marxist, Socialist, Anti-American, black-racist dictator and I and my entire family have had it and are voting for Romney and Ryan.

While Romney is a member of a cult, he is not a communist, he does not hate America and he does have the country's best interest at heart and knows first-hand what it takes to create and sustain a successful business or enterprise. Obama is none of these things and is doing everything within his power to destroy America from within.

As an evangelical Christian I couldn’t agree more and tell fellow EVers the same thing when they ask me about the cult thing.

BTW, Øbama has issued 923 EOs only FDR has issued more.

A secular test that I just though of when reading this thread is

"Which is worse? A person who ENTERS the White House rich, or a person who will LEAVE the White House rich?"

Or in another sense, "Who can be bought?"
