There is a different time zone in the panhandle and its largely conservative military. If Romney holds the central state the panhandle should go his way.

He was my congressman in FL. We just moved back home to NC in August, but a lot of folks down there complained that he didn’t actually really live there and he was just riding on his dad’s name. Take that for what it’s worth though, as it was anectodotal crap I would read.
