Went to bed. Couldn’t sleep. I feel sick.
I can’t understand this. Still trying to process it. It’s as if the devil himself ran this election.

I don’t know about that, but it sure as hell looks like he won it.
Basically, the metro areas and easily manipulated, non-traceable per-programmed electronic voting machines did us in IMHO. Early voting is no help either as well as lax Voter ID laws.
The SHTF is coming soon - I'm not a big Romney fan, but he is much more qualified to run the country.
Can't sleep - a bad feeling has set in about the future of our country.
Zeewoe is not a natural born citizen and the sheeple do not understand why that requirement was put into the US Constitution.

A friend at my brothers asked something like “So what do you think God wants us to learn from this?” I said discipline. And for us to rely on Him more.
I was going to say more but deleted it, and just leave it at that. Take a day to rest, pray, and plan ahead a bit. We’ve got a pretty good idea what’s coming down the pike so will want to plan for that.
I couldn’t sleep either.
I had a bad feeling as I was working my polling place today. Huge turnout, but I sensed it was for the Democrats a lot of whom I believe were told to vote straight ticket.
The ‘rats scared people into voting for their gov’t benefits.
We have to keep on, keeping on.
It is kind of like my Measure of a Man principle.
The measure of a man isn't his wealth, his appearance, how he speaks or his social standing.
The measure of a man is how he provides for his family, helps his neighbors and takes care of himself.
By doing those things to the best of his ability he fulfills God's Plan.
Since there have been so many posts critical of the FR forum and it's recent problems I noted that this evening it worked quite well.
Because of that I posted a thread asking for FReepers to thank Jim and John.
Since it isn't posted to Breaking or Front Page it will be buried soon and has to spread by word of mouth.

Same here, I had the sinking feeling really start at my polling place. Too many people there, precious few looked like from our area, and many were in line for same-day registration.
Silver lining for the day - our State Republicans regained the Senate, fool-proofed from our one RINO. So the Democrats Recall take-over was very hollow. A little sanity in an insane country.
The only reason I slept was due the two benadryl I took. We are in complete shock.
No time for shock. Brace yourself for the mid terms.

I wonder if they’ll take me and my family in down in Texas. I hate hot weather, but I like freedom.
Probably the best thing to do is to stay away from leftists for a while, friends and relatives included. Let them have their day, but gird up for the midterms.

Veteran’s Day on Sunday. I silently apologized to every American who gave their life for this country. We let them down bigtime. To honor them, we need to stand and fight.

I agree. We need a new party. I was thinking, last night, that I need to change parties. But to what? Constitution Party? TEA Party. We need to have a TEA Party political party. It’s time.
I got to bed late, then tossed and turned, slept a bit, and got up early. I’m bushed too. I don’t want to go to work today. One of the lib lawyers stops in every day and mocks the republican party. He has a really loud voice. I don’t want to listen to him gloat today.
Either works for me. They’re so right, this should have been a slam dunk. Barry is Carter on steroids. But like others are saying, we’ve hit the tipping point of takers vs providers.

I held my nose, enthusistically supported and voted for Romney. However when the GOP runs RINO weak candidates like Dole and McCain and Romney they lose! If they want to survive they have to start finding, running and supporting conservative candidates! No more reach across the aisle BS!
Compromising with a socialist means they win! NO MORE!
And she is also 100% correct about how the GOP-E thinks about conservatives and especially talk radio listeners and the Tea Party!

Asking for Palin signage got ridicule. Out and out laughing in my face! It got very heated. I didn’t waste my time this year.

Wrong! West is as strong and patriotic a man as we could ever ask for.
And if Sarah would just let go of the low, professional tone and be herself again, people are waiting for her, too.
Sarah may run for senate in 2014 and West could come back big time but the point is new blood is needed.

You know, to many people, Allen West WOULD be new blood. Several people in my office - my boss, who is an elected official, and a co-worker who was the head of the county Rep. women’s group - had never heard of him. Hard to believe, but we know a lot more here on Free Republic than many. If I asked any of my family who Allen West is, they will not know.
In any case, he needs to stay involved. He needs to run again.

Not only did Allen West lose, Alan Grayson is back. God help us! (Literally.) There must be something in the water down there in Florida.
To add insult to injury, I stopped in Wal-Mart this morning, and was stuck in line behind an able-bodied young woman with 30 items in the 20-item-or-less line, the only one open at 6:40 this morning. Her bill was $93, and she of course paid with foodstamps, which we are subsidizing, thanks to our Foodstamp President.
Hear hear. Everytime others not as informed start talking about racism against Barry, we counter it with Alan West. And none of them know who he is.

I made the mistake of going to FB. With all sincerity, I stopped posting alot of the political stuff awhile back. But the cyber high fives (congrats from knuckle dragging red PA to Elizabeth Warren! A “friend” who I I friended posted).
For me, I won’t forget the idiocy. Just don’t want to encounter then in real life either.

I’m considering taking mine down. Kind of hate to because of all the info that different sources provide. But anything I share is pretty much preaching to the choir for some, and being ignored by others I hope to inform.
Funny you two should mention that. I’ve been considering it myself. Most of my family just doesn’t care. I don’t ‘friend’ too many people. How does one shut down a FB account anyway? I’ll be happy to share my e-mail address with my Freeper FB buds, ‘just in case’.
Just my 2 cents...I don’t think I’m deactivating...just because it is a secondary way to get in touch. I’m just going to unfriend a bunch of idiots.
Ironic, if you are still listening to Q/R...ad on for “Small Business Saturday.” Right....
You can deactivate a FB account but it never really goes away. I deactivate mine on occasion, but anytime I type in the email and password it comes up.
Sometimes I think the Tea Party ought to just infiltrate the Democrat Party and start running candidates as Democrats. /kinda sarcastic
