Obama thanks you...
Stupid is as stupid does...but I’m being redundant.

Voter turnout was very high in R areas and very low in D areas. The numbers make no sense. Were early votes for Republicans disposed of? Were machines front-loaded with thousands of democrat votes?

Also—look at the races further down the ticket.
One example—the NC governor R candidate ran four points ahead of Romney. Why?

Remember, the GOP and Romney gave NO place to the Evangelical vote at the RNC convention. They outright snubbed us and that act rubbed Evangelicals the wrong way.
First, as an Evangelical Christian Tea Party Patriot ... I "did" vote for Romney-Ryan yesterday.
For many months at Free Republic I declared that my Christian beliefs prohibited me from voting for an "anti-christian" like Myth Romney.
What persuaded me to vote for Romney-Ryan was the hope that at least one (1.000) child might be saved from an abortion.
That was it.
======================================
What would you say to the 2011 Denver Broncos ... or the 2009-2010 Florida State football teams ...
if they benched Jim Tebow, just because he was a "Christian" ?
You would call them bigots perhaps, but more than anything ...
you would call them "STUPID".
Myth Romney and his Karl Rove GOP E-RINOs decided to effectively LOCK-OUT their "best" A-Team players from the 2012 final run for the White House.
Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain ...
all should have been PROMINENTLY EMBRACED by Myth Romney at the 2012 Tampa Convention.
Instead, as the author (above) points out ... they were BENCHED, IGNORED ...
======================================
I "accurately" predicted for months at Free Republic ...
and in several news media interviews at the 2012 GOP Tampa Convention ...
that Myth Romney WOULD LOSE TO OBAMA if he were nominated ...
because the "Evangelical Christian Political Infantry" would NOT be feverishly working campaign telephone banks, placing yards signs, and walking precients for "anti-christ" Mormon Mitt Romney and his (often godless) GOP E-RINO gang like Karl Rove (et al).
======================================
In fairness to Mitt Romney, he did suprisingly well in the campaign's final month ...
His debate preparation and performances were EXCELLENT ...
And the more "Newt Gingrich" campaign themes Mitt Romney (finally) incorporated were refreshingly EFFECTIVE ...
However ... Mitt Romney LOST THE ELECTION IN TAMPA ...
when Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and the other valiant "genuine" CONSERVATIVES were thrown under the bus by the GOP E-RINOs.
P.S.
A special "thanks" to Rush Limbaugh for letting guest-host Mark Steyn (sp) MOCK and RIDICULE Newt Gingrich on a DAILY basis during the crucial Florida Primary ...
after Newt Gingrich had won a "landslide" victory against Mitt Romney in South Carolina.
Rush Limbaugh's often stated claim that he doesn't endorse candidates ... is Stalinist Propaganda ...
especially when intellectual light-weights like Mark Steyn (sp) are ENCOURAGED to DESTROY a "genuine" Conservative like Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich.
P.S.S. "Memo to Karl Rove and Jeb Bush" ...
"No" ... GOP Presidential Candidate wins the White House ... without winning South Carolina.

Why not simply blame the 50+% who are either too ignorant, too self-serving, too racist, too stupid, too willing to feed at the public trough regardless of consequences, or too imbued with the pep-rally mentality (go team go!) to realize they have crapped in Liberty's messkit, and suppertime is coming.
Aside from the fraudsters, they are the reason Obama won the first time, they are the reason last night came out the way it did, and will be the first to wail and demand other people pay for their stupidity.
Blaming anyone else is ridiculous, unless you thing the circular firing squad needs to be called out yet again to further fractionate the Conservatives who endure.

No - but he is obviously being used as a tool by Satan - not that anyone is ever out of the reach of God - unless they want to be - and Obama has sold his soul - witness his unashamed embrace of the slaughter of babies.br>
THAT is what the Roney-haters have given us.

I voted for Romney even though I think he would have gone moderate on social issues after the election but it was because I thought it was critical to get Obama out because he was fiscally bankrupting the country and moving us toward Socialism. Romney clearly is a Capitalist and would have reversed that. And Romney is a good “turn around specialist” who could have applied his knowledge to the government.
However, Evangelicals are not necessary small government, Tea Party conservatives. We do have some “one issue” voters out there who will not vote for someone who they view as soft on abortion. I’m not going to fault Evangelicals for not voting for Romney if their issue is abortion and they don’t care as much about limiting government. I disagree with the decision but I’m not going to “scape goat” them. The Dems just have a larger voting block than Republicans, period. That’s the way it is. We have to address that.

Well, I didn’t! I actually got off of my sick bed (I have a terminal illness) and drove myself to vote. I’m asking God to take away any bitterness than I have regarding the Liberals and stay at home Evangelicals.

I happened to be lurking on a board frequented by evangelical young people (20-somethings, a few 30’s) discussing the election, and was stunned to see the overwhelming apathy and fatalism. “Why vote - it makes no difference - they’re both the same” was the prevailing opinion.

Well congratulation ! You made the Perfect the enemy of the Good.
In return those who stayed home get the responsibility for the next4 years and have no right to bitch. So when Obamacare is fully implemented, gay marriage is the norm, and Obama names 2 or 3 more judges to SCOTUS and Israel is nuked, it’s all on those who stayed home.

I didn’t vote for Obama either. Have you forgotten we have an Electoral College? My state wasn’t a swing state, I could vote my conscience and didn’t cave to pressure, especially in a state where it didn’t matter (I live in a solid red state).
Stupidity is caving religious beliefs for political gain.

My mother is terminally ill and I drove her to vote and voted as well.

Ummmm...No, you actually voted for Obama. Virgil Goode had absolutely NO chance, and you were in a critical state, so don’t come on here all holier than thou.

Ummm...No I wasn’t in a critical state, not sure where you got that idea. I am NOT in a swing state. I know VG didn’t have a chance of winning but he does reflect my views and worships the same God.

It’s America’s youth and their ignorance that won the election for Obama. They have no concept or understanding of traditional families, communism, Reaganomics, and even basic Christian values.
If Republican’s want to win in the future the message needs to be modified to appeal to them. Taking a stronger state’s rights stance on the social issues is the only way I can see fiscons and socons achieving some kind of coalition needed to defeat Democrats. It’s a numbers game now and the traditional conservative doesn’t have the needed votes without recruiting new voters.
