And how to we retrain our citizens to crave freedom? Only the older generations know how. When they are gone, all hope is gone.

How do we resist communism? Doesn’t your military training include something of that nature?

The Pubbie candidate in 2016 will have to be an educator and a salesman...or saleswoman. The tide has turned..there are now more takers than producers. The Pubbie candidate will have to sell conservatism. Can it be done? I have my doubts. Too many Americans now believe Big Government is the answer to their problems. They don’t want to be told to work for a living. Doesn’t look good.

Although I believe in and support the Tea party, all the the Tea party candidates lost that I know of. The country has moved left, with all the illegals, third worlders, and those receiving government candy, plus the liberals. Also, the MSM was cheerleading for O every day and gave up any pretense they ever had toward being objective. You should have seen the blatant advocacy on Yahoo, for example. We have a different country now than we had even 5-10 years ago.

States with Strict Photo ID Enforcement:

Kansas, Indiana, Tennessee, and Georgia!

Gee Obama didn’t do to well in those states.

Obama has transformed America by buying the vote with taxpayer money and the main stream media did its part by deceiving the public.

We will have to pay the price under a radical left wing Supreme Court, government run health insurance that will be unaffordable, a weakend dollar under the Federal Reserve’s continuous quantitatitative easing, loss of our military security, increasing wars, eventual massive inflation and bankruptcies (both government and private) and more unthinkable horror.

Everyone is too busy to teach their children and to make sure others are taught about freedom.

Everyone is too busy to step in and do the grunt work it takes to keep the government constitutional.

Everyone is too busy to defend freedom at home so when our soldiers come home from defending us, they find they have been defending a myth.

Remind me where the main theme Reagan had to deal with was two attention whore nutty senate candidates saying stupid things about rape. That a womans body can shut it down if it was legitimate, or that her getting knocked up was gods plan.

That was apparently a BIG success with women voters. Reagan never had to deal with such insurrectionist lunacy from within.
The economy is a disaster, we are about to have the military gutted, coal is about to be outlawed, Taxes are about to shoot up, we had one shot to stop Obamacare, electricity prices are going to skyrocket, the dollar is in growing danger of losing it’s reserve currency status, Israel will be attacked soon because they know Obama will cut them loose, the Iranians are about to get the bomb, and Obama is embracing the muslim brotherhood. There is open discussion in egypt about tearing down the pyramids and Christians are actually being crucified again,,,,,,and these two bozos managed to make the medias “war on women” meme take wings.

Well, take a look at the Democrat campaign. We have a poor economy, high unemployment, high gas prices, a failed and dangerous foreign policy, falling house prices, GM goes bankrupt, constant scandals with Pigford and green bailouts, etc....and Obama runs a campaign saying “You know me” and “You can trust me!”, neither one of which is true. Yet, he wins. Somebody voted for him. The older I get, the more people I run into who want to teach me a lesson. They’re going to teach me a lesson for getting a job they wanted. They’re going to teach me a lesson for disagreeing with them. They want to teach me a lesson for not giving them a deal on something they wanted. Lots of teachers in this country. Obama is a teacher. He’s going to teach us that, “Elections have consequences”. That’s going to be a hard lesson for all of us. If you want to teach people lessons, sign up to teach a Sunday School class. If you want to keep the Democrats out of your pockets, vote Republican.

Well, they need to hurt enough. These women that bought the “war on women” theme and feel so smug today. If they are under 40, they have no memory whatsoever of 18 and 19% mortgages, of grinding unemployment, of odd even days at gas stations and “no gas” signs.
They have only known the Reagan prosperity, and the “Clinton” properity which was actually the Newt and rise of the internet prosperity. Daffy duck could have been president from 92-2000 and would have seen the economy explode from the whole dot.com era.

They do not realize how bad it can be. They will experience it. And when they hurt enough, they may, like the citizens of the USSR, be finally ready for doing the things that successful nations do.

IMO, we lost for one reason, and one reason only, more people voted for Obama than for Romney. Sounds simplistic, but we have crossed the threshold and there are more on “their” side than on ours. They include those on the “take”, those who simply are not informed (by choice...as in those man on the street interviews on Jay Leno shows which show exactly how uninformed the general public is), those who say they listen to become informed, but are knowingly misled by the media, and then there are those insiders, who seek power and control.

This is just part of a post I saw on a friend’s FB page, it speaks to those who have succumbed to the redistribution lie.

“All those who voted for Mr. Obama seem to believe they have provided for themselves a government funded future, but in reality they have booked first class passage on the USA Titanic.”

Our country has descended to a level of illiteracy that our country is lost. Nobody cares about having a democracy or a free market economy. The race is so close that no one is concerned about jobs, the economy, trade, immigration, the drug war, or the budget. Nobody cares about our country and where it’s headed anymore. This will be the last generation that will even remember what America felt like when people were free. After this election we will become so dependent on government that we’ll slowly morph into a socialist Banana Republic where the majority will be on the dole. Our republic lasted just less than 200 years so it was a short period of time. WE were the first democracy in the world and will probably be the last. Everything will all be down hill from here—enjoy it these final days because it is fading.

Surely equally stupid things were being said back in 1980. But Reagan was not defined by them because he had alrealdy defined himself long before he ran for President.

Where is Mitt Romney's "A Time for Choosing"? Where is the modern Republican broadside against Socialized Medicine?

In order to get people to agree with your positions, you have to state your positions and convince them. Instead our politics have become all about gotcha "gaffes" and minutia.

It reminds me of Supreme Court nominations where the President goes out to find a stealth nominee who has said absolutely nothing about anything, because that is the way to win 50 votes in the Senate. Well, the electorate doesn't work that way. If you want them to vote for you, you have to tell them what they are voting for.
