Such BS. 0-care defies the laws of economics which trumps any pronouncements by rinos or socialists. The states will have a lot to say about this issue by refusing to set up state exchanges.

OBAMACARE IS NOT FREE!

Geez LOUISE! Every reckoning, every estimate is that it's going to cost way more to add the people it's supposed to add, than if the government had just cut them a check for the premiums of normal health insurance as we know it now.

Yes. I agree he could have said more...it is just that we needn’t bash him for stating the truth.

Boehner DID pass repeals. Obama and Reid and Pelosi are to blame for Obamacare.

And by the way: as more doctors flee (some have already testified to that fact on this thread), it will be a GREAT TIME for us to remind people about why it should be REPEALED.

They said the same thing about Prohibition in 1928.

BIG difference between Prohibition and Healthcare.

Healthcare deals with people's lives.

We had our chance on tuesday. We lost. It's here to stay.

John Boehner needed to go years ago.

“Why attack Boehner? He fought Obama Care.”

You call this fighting?

Defund it.

Spending originates in the House. Republicans control the House and have for 2 years. Did they defund it? No? Then don’t tell me they couldn’t do anything. They never intended to get rid of it. When Boehner admits that, then you all go praise him for truth telling. Until then he’s just continuing to spin.

In a sense, yes. The Republicans won’t be left holding the bag when the train wreck happens (to shamefully mix a metaphor).

“DEFUND IT!

The House Republicans have already funded it longer than necessary. I think it’s March 2013 when a vote for continued funding is due. DEFUND it already!”

Exactly. They always have that power.

The thing I fear is sequestration. The Rats will hold the military funding hostage until Obamacare is funded.

Still, we can not bend over and let them ram us from behind. We’ve got to use what little power we have to at least leverage SOMETHING out of this.

Quit being weenies!

Won’t it be funny if Americans end up going to CANADA for important health care?

And so let them do that. Get Obama's drones out of Afghanistan. Let him go totally peacenik. Let's see what happens.

. According to Jefferson’s Manual, a 19th century procedural manual that has been largely incorporated into the House Rules:

A Speaker may be removed at the will of the House, and a Speaker pro tempore appointed.

A resolution declaring the Office of Speaker vacant presents a question of constitutional privilege, though the House has never removed a Speaker. It has on several occasions removed or suspended other officers, such as Clerk and Doorkeeper. A resolution for the removal of an officer is presented as a matter of privilege.

There is, however, a catch. Speaker Boehner may presently be the highest ranking Republican in Congress, but speakers are elected by the entire House — not simply the majority party. A resolution removing Speaker Boehner — most likely because of a Tea Party revolt seeking to replace him with someone even further to the right — would require either overwhelming support in Boehner’s own caucus or collusion with the Democrats.

Yup. Only way to stop it now is in the courts but it NEEDS to be done now.

John Boehner is right with this statement. But he’s still USELESS and NEEDS TO GO. He’s been a disaster!

Simple solution:

DEFUND IT.

All spending originates in the House.

Boehner is the Speaker of said House.

WHY IS HE NOT PURSUING THIS TO KILL THIS MONSTROSITY?

Hell, if we can't cut $100 billion a year out of a $3.7 trillion dollar annual budget for the next ten years, how the Hell are we ever going to cut spending?

We aren't. Game Over. The country has changed. It is no longer a christian Republic, it is a godless Democracy, with factions vying for a piece of the pie. I say if you can't beat' em. Join 'em. Raise taxes, raise corporate taxes, open the borders, just let Obama have everything he wants. Don't fight a single bill. They won't know what the hell to do if we stop opposing them. Then when it all turns south, which it will eventually anyway, they will be in the pilot's seat.

Precisely. There are consequences to an election. Frankly, I think Boehner is giving them exactly what they voted for, I’m loving it.

You and I are on the same page...give them everything they want. They will be flummoxed if we stop fighting. Maybe they will actually do something responsible for once.
