If so, then I retract my statement.
I took it as a backhanded slap at the more conservative members of his own party. Perhaps I took it wrongly.
I'm still waiting for him to step up though.

who is expected to remain speaker in the new House Republican majority Unfortunately I am not sure how we could affect a leadership change. The process seems about as closed and secretive as electing a Pope. I guess the first step would be for someone to announce they are running against him
To: Perdogg
How is he supposed to repeal it in this Congress and with this White House? Please explain.

Im the most reasonable, responsible person here in Washington, said Boehner, who is expected to remain speaker in the new House Republican majority. The president knows it. He knows that he and I can work together. The elections over. Now its time to get to work. ~Boehner

“...vice presidential nominee Paul D. Ryan is not the new leader of the GOP...”
I sure hope Ryan challenges that assertion. I can’t imagine he’ll want to go back from excellent VP nominee to being a run of the mill congressman.

Everyone call your house reps and tell them to vote this idiot out.

I think it is pretty pathetic that FReepers are lashing out at this good man.
Are you are related to Boehner? He has failed spectatarly in opposing the Obama agenda these last two years. Obama and Reid lead him by the nose from one crisis to the next and all he did was tip toe along. There has been no unified opposition to Obama and that is 100% the failure of Congressional GOP leadership.
If the two stooges retain their leadership 2014 will be a massacre for the GOP.

Im the most reasonable, responsible person here in Washington, said Boehner Cautious, measured, mild mannered, steeped in decorm...That's exactly the reason you need to go.
We need someone with a fire in their belly, somebody a little steely-eyed, unpredictable and dangerous looking, totally unafraid of pissing somebody off.

Defund it. It’s the legal House version of executive orders.
Pelosi and Reid wouldn’t hesitate.
The Republicans are going to be demonized no matter what. Might as well try to save the country.

Imagine: John Boehner sucking up to the MSM in order to negotiate away our God-given liberty and freedom.
That comes as such a surprise from a GOP establishment that has just blithely delivered us to the whims of 0’s marxist regime.

According to Mark Levin I heard him say that one does not need to be a memeber of the house to be the speaker, I say go for Alan west if he is defeated.. or Sarah Palin

Pelosi and Reid wouldnt hesitate.
That is the right model. The way they carpet bombed W with the help of the MSM was very effective. The Maverick RINO scattershot messaging has failed UTTERLY opposing Obama.
It’s time for some fresh blood in GOP leadershiop who will stick to the game plan and pound the kenyan/dims on a daily basis.
