You hit the nail on the head and even Haley Barbour concurs. AGree or disagree with what Christie did and said, he wants to make sure the government is helping his state. Haley was criticized by the media for NOT criticizing Bush during Katrina. The role of a governor is to look out for his state and people and to make sure he plays nice with uncle Sam as he has deep pockets. At this point, it makes all the sense in the world for Christie to bend over backwards to be nice to Obama, who is the President. Romney, the two time loser, can’t help Christie. Some of you are angry and that’s understandable but you are politically clueless.

Absolutely 100% BS.

It is YOU who are politically clueless.

The slobbering effulgence of Christie's praise for 0bama during the last 100 hour news cycle before the election, in the full national spotlight of one of the most over-hyped storms in the history of the country was fully calculated for maximum detrimental effect. It was deliberate. It was despicable. And if he were actually worried about helping his constituents, he would have been out days ago yelling about the absolutely awful response by FEMA IN THE AFTERMATH.

So far: bupkis. But at least he was passionate about one thing: his man-love for his has-been, no-talent, Bob-Dylan-impersonator idol, "The Boss." That got his juices flowing.

He's finished outside of New Jersey. Deservedly so. He's a backstabbing POS.

Christie didn’t have to take the time to walk around just looking at damage with barry, and give him the photo ops he needed. Whatever help obama pledged could have been pledged from ,well, a fundraiser in Las Vegas for instance. If Vegas is good enough for the morning after a terrorist attack that kills four Americans on Sept 11th, it’s good enough for pledging help to New Jersey!!

Christie allowed himself to be used. Where is giving his state the worst president ever considered ‘looking out for your state’?

Cuomo/NY (D) didn’t meet with him and he will be the next one looking to be president and he doesn’t have that taint on him. Christie is the one who is politically clueless, not freepers.

Keep in the mind, this is a few days before people went to the polls. Christie had an excellent reason not to met him with his state in that disaster. Any business needed for his state would take a few minutes on the phone. The state is still in that disaster - Barry is partying. There were tons of pictures to prove NJ needed help - there was NO reason Christie needed to met with barry to get help for his state.

This is like two boys with a massive amount of homework and one kid looking to be class president asked them both to come and play awhile and that he has a popular rock singer with him. One kid says I can’t, I have too much work and the other kid says I’ll go play for a few hours. Who is the responsible one, who is the political savvy one and who was used and not responsible to his own duties.

One showed confidence and doesn’t need anyone and one is less sure of himself and needs connections and jumped at the chance. Cuomo will be president before Christie realizes he ruined his own chances because of his need/inner turmoil. He was saying I don’t have what it takes, I need connections. Christie went to 100 concerts of Bruce, seems he wanted to fit in and be part of the hip crowd. The man needs to grow up and not out.

He is not disciplined even to stay home and do his homework. His weigh shows his lack of discipline. A big mouth is not a sign of confidence. We all saw what a big wuss he is.

And the other guy got what he wanted by using the undisciplined one, the one who wanted to go out and play but he felt hip, he met Bruce. Wait until I tell my friends!! Christie is the biggest teenager I ever saw.
