Jill Kelley, the other "other woman" in the General Petrateus scandal has hired a powerful Washington D.C. crisis management firm Smith & Company.
Among other matters, the firm has handled "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership with its communication efforts as part of the War on Terrorism" and represented Monica Lewinsky.

Kelley has also hired the attorney Abbe Lowell. Lowell has defended many political figures including John Edwards, Jim Wright, Dan Rostenkowski and Gary Condit and lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Not only that but lawyering up with the most expensive talent money can buy.
Because she blew the whistle son this whole mess and knows that media and the rest of O’s team (Axelrod, Valerie, Moochelle et al) will DESTROY her and her family if she does not get out in front of this beast.
FYI..don’t want to knock the lady..she may well be the innocent here..I’m in Tampa..I know some people, who know some people, who know her, and the general consensus is that she’s somewhat of a flake..ditzy..shallow, overly materialistic a social climber.. IOW, like millions of other American women..
If you were an innocent person....you wouldn’t lawyer-up to this level. This has a fairly bad smell to it. My honest guess...there’s going to be a couple of other women mentioned in public eventually.

Huh? Read that list again of the perps Lowell has defended. If I’m not mistaken, the majority, if not all, got their arses handed to them in court. Some lawyer!
It reminds me of the hotshot ‘Rat lawyer, Boyd maybe, who represented the ‘Rats in the Bush v. Gore election fiasco.

Hubby’s a cancer surgeon...perhaps he’s thinking of his practice also.

Her hubby is a hotshot surgeon. By the looks of their abode, they’re dripping with money. And BTW, she did NOT marry the surgeon for his looks!
I’d lawyer up if I were her too. She’s dealing with the Chicago mob, given Executive powers unencumbered by any concerns with “flexibility” (i.e., voters).
