Oh, please, don’t try to sell that stuff to me. The way blacks use it is “different”, LOL? It’s the same WORD. You might be willing to fall in line with politically correct demands of overlooking black behavior while condemning the same from whites, but I reject double standards.

A “shred of humanity”.....please, spare me the dramatics. Besides, if the n-word is so loaded with hatred, shouldn’t you be rushing off to the black community to preach to THEM about using it?

I have worked with words my entire adult life. They have different meanings in different contexts. I am quite tired of that argument that black people use the word so it’s okay if we use it.

The people who are arguing for no more double standards—i.e., black people shouldn’t use “whitey” and the like—have a better case.

Even that does not mean two wrongs make a right. Are we back in grade school that we still don’t understand that saying?
