So says John Solomon at the Washington Guardian, citing sources within the intelligence community. Within 72 hours, the Presidential Daily Briefing made it clear, according to Solomon, that the attack did not arise from a spontaneous mob protesting a YouTube video, but instead resulted from a planned, coordinated attack by radical Islamist “extremists” with links to al-Qaeda:

Ok, here’s my personal analysis of what happened on 9/11. Some of it is based on the facts that were revealed yesterday after the Petraeus testimony, some of it is based on statements by Obama and some of it is pure conjecture.
First all, there was a group of Obama top advisors watching the events as they unfolded in Benghazi, watching on a screen in the situation room.
Obama claims that issued the order that we do whatever it takes to get those men out of there (the ambassador at least). So I will take him at his word.
Then a little later they see the dead or dying body of the ambassador being dragged out of the building and paraded in the streets of Benghazi by the terrorists. (No they weren’t taking him to the hospital as Hillary claimed)
That is when Obama issued the stand down, figuring that it was over, too late, nothing could be done and he didn’t want to further anger the terrorists. Obama never gave a second thought to the others at the CIA facility a mile away.
Obama gave up and went to bed because he had a big day of campaigning planned and the rest of the people in the situation room (probably Panetta, Biden, Clapper and a couple of others) told him that they would stay and monitor the situation.
Then the second wave of the attack started and Panetta and the others made the decision not to wake Obama and to do nothing. It was a giant Charley Foxtrot and it was all their fault.
So, they came up with the cover story, including the idiocy about the ambassador being carried to the hospital, and the false narrative about the video. I think that they also came up with the idea to blame Petraeus if the narrative began to fall apart, which it did.
For that reason, I believe that Clapper played a large role in the creation of the false narrative.

The drones have it all on film. I think Americans ought to be able to listen to and watch the whole 7 hours of horror with a crawler below showing exactly what the president was doing:
President goes to bathroom.
President smokes a cigarette.
President brushes teeth.
President checks flight to Las Vegas in the morning.
President reminds Situation Room not to bother him under any circumstances.
President goes to bed.
President asleep.
All while the Americans are having a fire-fight watched by drones, screams for help recorded on tape, dead bodies heat signatures dropping, etc.
Turn this into a made for the Internet Movie.
Let’s hang that around his neck forever.

An American loving President would see the dead body dragged and then sent in some bombs and bullets to give them a lot of bodies to drag away. But, Obama went to sleep.

Who was responsible for zero & Hildabeast making those Public Pleas on Islamic TV about the attack being a ‘Protest’ against that ugly U-tube video? Taxpayers money was spent on those apology speeches.

I call the fake film maker ‘his crew’ because Obama has not once shouted out about the fake film maker's claim to be an Israeli Jew and the fake film maker solicitation of a Christian preacher Jones to help spread the video. Why how did General Dempsey know who had contacted preacher Jones?
I view this fake video getting advertised by Obama, Clinton, and Rice as similiar to liberals street theater OccupyWallStreet against Romney. Problem for the liberals happened when the terrorists hijacked their video mission.
Hillary Clinton is the first official of the US who blamed that video for Benghazi: Noted the date, it was still 9-11-2012 when this was released.

I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack.
This evening, I called Libyan President Magariaf to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya. President Magariaf expressed his condemnation and condolences and pledged his government’s full cooperation.
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
In light of the events of today, the United States government is working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions, and American citizens worldwide.

While we all debate on whether the president knew whether it was a terrorist attack or a mob demonstration (not), I think we’re being distracted from the real question. Did the president grant CBA to aid the embattled SEALS? Who gave the stand down orders? Call it what you will, but why weren’t
rescue troops immediately deployed? This is a life and death issue first not a semantics issue. Susan Rice is a nobody.
Except that there was no way in real time to know the ambassador was dragged out.
