Grover Norquist: 'We Are About to Have a Tea Party Second Wave that Will Dwarf the First Wave'
Fox Nation ^

Americans for Tax Reform Chief Grover Norquist predicts a huge new wave of the Tea Party is coming. The Victoria Taft Show 11/29/2012 We are about to have a Tea Party second wave that will dwarf the first wave and that is because while 'spend too much' brought the Tea Party into existence, we're about to walk into 'spend too much, regulate too much, and tax too much, all together. It's going to be a perfect storm of annoying government behavior, which is devastating to the economy, and I think the small business community which is particularly hit by Obama's tax increases are going to lead the fight bigger, stronger, tougher than the last Tea Party.

Agreed—Grover has been a festering Islamist boil on conservatism for some time now.

As long as Democrats continue to run the school systems, we are fighting a losing battle. We have to fix this problem.

Likewise, the news and entertainment media. Let Democrats define what is information, and what is important, and we will remain behind the curve slipping farther and farther behind. You can’t let your enemies define the truth to your kids over decades without cost.

Unfortunately, the Tea Party brand is too tarnsished to do much good.

That being said, they could always pull an ACORN. Come back with the same organization but different name. Most Americans are too dumb, bored, or lazy to follow the pea from one shell to the next so it works quite well.

The Tea Party got started because people wanted to revolt against a tyrannical government. Rename the Tea Party with “Revolution” in the name and you’ll get the same backing.

When the zombies open their pay stubs and they realize what they have done to them selves there will be converts

I'm convinved that the great majority of mumbling morons will look at their pay stub and think back to recent media reports -- "Dang! This check is really small ... Bush tax cuts ... House giving money to millionaires ... Bush tax cuts ... this check is really small ... Bush tax cuts ... Boy I hate Republicans ... Hope Obama can fix this ..."

I kind of doubt it. It would take something really radical like the Government nationalizing all 401Ks to wake the sheeple out of their slumber.

Tea Party was not ineffective. Rather, the Dems got people to the polls. The only way to win Prez elections in the future is to start now developing a masterful GOTV apparatus AND to do a much better job of education through TV, etc. (No, I don’t mean just trashing liberals, as fun as that is. I mean simply doing what the public schools refuse to do — give basic non-threatening education about the Constitution, economics, etc.)

If the media doesn’t cover it, it didn’t happen. That’s where we are now. We need massive rallies even though no one will know they happened. Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ comes to mind.

Too late.

They missed the election.

It won’t need to be renamed when the real revolution starts. Buy more guns and ammo. Get ready and BE ready.

Conservatives don’t need him or his pledges to do the right thing. At the top of the list should be telling him to take his islamist sensibilities and go teach the democrats about fiscal responsibility.

I’m not convinced.

right now folks just seem bewildered and depressed

one thing is we have to replace the GOP...most of it...we cannot split from it

but in reality

it’s all bullshit really

this will lead in time mto politics by other means...the demographic friction alone

our ancestors would have been gearing up already..mine did..but we lost...fair warning

It’s no surprise they have more effect in congressional elections than in presidential elections.

Massive turnout in “democrat safe” districts has no bearing on the statewide results.

The fact that Grover thinks he has any credibility left is amazing.

” - - - if we split from the GOP - - - “

As long as we have an election system that credits the plurality candidate as the winner, a third party option would be mainly for lobbying purposes.

If the rules are changed to 50 % plus one vote, or a simple majority of those voting is the winner, then and only then does a third party have a chance against either of “both” of our sorry political parties.

This is a long way around to say that IMHO, we Conservatives must take over the sorry RINO Party by 2014 or 2015.

Grover has the backbone, and we provide the elbow grease.

Attend your nearest ‘Always lose at all Costs’ RINO Party meeting and work to take them over.

BTW, it shouldn’t be much of a problem, as most are tired of losing every election.

Well, they had better call it something else - because they have already lost the name and image to the well-orchestrated Democrat caricature of a bunch of wild-eyed social conservative racist gun nuts.

Apparently he’s not familiar with voter fraud. Fraud will cut heavily into Tea Party votes. Plus all those who say they’ll never vote again BECAUSE of fraud.

I’ve been talking about how your vote doesn’t count for a long time. I guess lots of votes didn’t count this past election.

Excellent point. The only path available is to take over the GOP. Even if we do that the best we can do is slow down marxism. Given projected demographics and MSM and school indoctrination our situation is quite dire.
