It really pisses them off when I tally up just how many seats Obama won in the Michigan legislature.

TV talking heads are spouting this all the time too. It's NUTS. Obama retained the presidency, the Republicans retained the House, the Dems retained the Senate. So what, pray tell, has changed since 2010? Not a damn thing. Maybe we should be screaming "Republicans won the House." It makes as much sense as "Obama won."
Except: the House controls the purse strings, not the president.
