I believe it's Rob Parker whom has the issue. Where does ESPN find these idiots?
That’s an encouraging number!
Yeah it is. Hopefully it’s not a small sample size fluke or something, but the chances of a black man voting for Romney over Obama at the age of 25 and then EVER pulling the lever for a D again in their lifetime is probably pretty low, and if they talk at least one or two of their friends and wives into switching as they get older, you’ve got the makings of a substantial beachhead for the GOP in the black electorate.
Ah, I see you’re new here, welcome aboard.
Yes, if we can get the numbers to 20% overall it would be a real sea change. The overall R-D split is very close, and peeling off 2%-2-1/2% of solid Dem voters would have a huge effect.
Who is RGIII?
Thanks for the welcome. I do believe that if the choice for blacks ever comes down to an actual debate about which party’s platform they agree with more, taking race out of the equation, the GOP will get between one-third and one-half of the black vote. In other words, between a third and half of black voters agree more with the conservative/Republican platform than they do with the liberal/Democratic platform. The problem is that academia, the MSM, and their political leadership has them convinced that conservatives and Republicans are racist, while Democrats are their “friends”, and the “debate” doesn’t go any further than that for the vast majority.
The fact that it appears as though you are beginning to see a group of young people taking a fresh look is encouraging indeed, if those numbers hold up.
