They’ve got to realize “this is not your father’s President,” so to speak. They really haven’t shown they’re up to it so far.
It just gave him a chance to shoot off a cloud of ink, like any squid when it’s cornered. He obscured things so much that he thinks it’s going to give him time to get away.
And it probably will.
He gets away with everything just like BJ Clinton. Makes me sick.

You are right, but even more telling is the assumption that Republican Senators would jump on the opportunity to endorse Kerry for the job.
We have no Republican party, There is only the Democrat party and Republicans who are an adjunct to it.
Appointing Kerry would placate Republicans??
