The New York Post reports that Eric Boswell, the assistant secretary of state for diplomatic security, has not resigned from the department, as a State Department spokeswoman indicated Dec. 19. Boswell is instead just "switching desks," according to the report.
Three other State Department officials, including Charlene Lamb, the deputy assistant secretary responsible for embassy security, were placed on administrative leave after the release of the report. However, according to the Post they are expected to return

For folks who might not know what “administrative leave” is in the government, it’s PAID leave (i.e., time off from work) that does not require the person to use any of his/her sick leave or annual leave hours that he/she accrues each year.
Hell, I’d love to have paid time off—particularly at this time of the year. Yes, the Obama/Clinton administration is really punishing these folks. They’re probably in tears while they’re off on this latest vacation paid for by the taxpayers.

Same crap as Fast & Furious. I’ll bet if you check in a few years these lateral moves will end up enhancing their careers. Their silence is being bought and paid for by taxpayer’s money.
Lets hope they don’t fall and hit their heads while on ‘administrative leave’. There’s alot of that going around in Washington.

I disagree. No way. If Hilarious wants to run the nomination will be hers virtually unopposed, IMO.
Dems must protect Hilarious and Barry together because they both slept through the same 3:00 AM alarm. One cannot go down without taking the other down and the credibility of Dems as CIC with them. At various times, Hilarious and Barry mouthed the exact same talking points that supposedly disqualified Rice as SOS.
If it weren’t for the MSM protecting the Dem regime at all costs, both Hilarious and Barry would be in big trouble now, not to mention losing the 2012 election.
