Maybe a tribute to Karen Carpenter and some Hot for Teacher....Happy New Year Kathy!!
The road across the mountains wasn’t to bad. Got the evil brine off the car today. I’m sure folks on I-85N was wondering where the heck my car had been. Some new ice and snow was present. The Smokies looked all dressed for a party with no place to go. :^>
Happy New Year! That graphic is TOO cute!
Happy New Year, dear BB...and all of you TARDS! I thought about y’all having fun and was there in heart! :) All that Mexican food sounds so yummy!
I changed my calendar and watched a tv show and then went to bed. Gotta work this morning.
I lead a boring life.
Will be heading up to OKC this coming Sunday to be with the kids for the birth of Callie Amelia on Monday the 7th! That’s NOT boring!

Good morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR dear ((HUGS))

Good morning beachy and (((HUGS))) to you too. Happy New Year to you.
Thank you. It was a quiet night here in S.E. Mi.
Happy hangovers to all of you party critters out there in FReeper-land!
I had an interesting New Years, I volunteered to assist in fire suppression of a massive four trailer 700 tube launched personal fireworks display here in Wasilla, Alaska.
It was warm at about 37F, a bit windy but after troubleshooting several firing radio controlled receivers sunday and some electronics magic fingers on my part we had a huge fireworks show.
So here I am after about half way through when on two trailers their was a sizable fire starting up whipped by the winds, me I’m ducking the cannons going off and literally walking right up to the launch trailers with a pressurized water fire extinguisher.
Oh I tell you it was a hoot doing all this roadie-running between trailers putting out blocks of aerial launched fireworks. Now everything is e-matched lit by batteries so I wasn’t putting out non launched rockets in firing tubes, just the big cardboard trays that were attempting to spark off everything, I had one errant missile take off sideways in front of me. My son later is chanting “by the rockets red glare....”to me and laughing.
Mostly it was a huge success except for one remote receiver that may not have been turned on.
Morning, Sarmajor! And a Happy Year to ya!
Snow in AZ?
SIERRA VISTA Mondays early morning snowfall reached near-record levels in Bisbee and Sierra Vista according to initial measurements by the Tucson office of the National Weather Service.
With rain freezing at around 3 a.m., an estimated nine inches of snow fell on parts of Bisbee, making it one of the largest single snowfalls since records began being kept in 1985, said Meteorologist Carl Cerniglia.
It looks like its in the top three for Bisbee, he said.
Sierra Vistas 2.7 inches was enough to make Mondays snowfall in the top 5 of recorded days since 1982.
Douglas and Naco recorded three inches and eight inches of snow, respectively.
THIS ONE is the exception.
This will warm your heart on a cold winter's night.
Happy New Year to you and your bride. It got a bit chilly here since I got up today.
Good morning Meg and Happy New Year to you too. (((HUGS))).

Thanks for everything NY! Your company and food was the tops!
Loved meeting pookie, mylife! Such a stellar specimen of the dog world! So sweet and soft!
I had a great time seeing everyone! Sorry I was such a bore...lol. Laid up in bed now. It got really bad yesterday, but I still refused to go to emergency room, so my doc sent some meds. Told me to come in if it doesn’t go away. I think it will all be fine in a few days though. The meds helped a lot and best of all, the phenegren knocked me out cold for about 9 hours yesterday....lol.
Good news though for you guys in that doc doesn’t think it is contagious. Just my newly configured insides acting up...lol.
Bless you all in the New Year!!
