She bought the kids..some candy of some sort...with food stamps.

I am a guardian and have bought snacks for the kids with their EBT/SNAP card and probably will again in the future. Should be a very small part of overall SNAP budget. Luxury and comfort foods have been evaluated many times by the Department of Agriculture and the logistical nightmare to designate them and enforce coding compliance by food producers led them to abandon an effort to exclude the sweet stuff. Should people also be prevented from purchasing raw ingredients and using them to bake cookies, etc?

I believe I was fairly neutral in my post...about what I saw.

Take it for what it was worth.

I'm a reasonable person...and a health care professional. I understand what's in front of me...might not be the story.

FWIW-

Moochelle has said that there is an obesity epidemic and kids don’t need sugar. So if you are buying candy for kids with EBT cards, moochelle is not gonna be happy wif you.
