The House Democrats (Diana DeGette, D-CO) are submitting a bill in the next few days to Congress to ban any magazine over 10 rounds in capacity. We must act now to stop this erosion of our 2nd Amendment rights!

No.

No new laws. Period. Stand up and say no, Republicans.

Act like you stand for something, and maybe, just maybe...

You will.

Last time the House passed such a bill, they all got the heave-Ho.

This time will be no different.

I agree. Even many democrats see this B.S. for what it is.

“The way I’m getting this is that if you have a pistol that will accept a magazine with over 10 round capacity the pistol will have to be specially permitted. You won’t have to have the magazine.”

Wouldn’t that include just about EVERY semi-automatic pistol that can accept a magazine?

What handgun out there can accept a 10-round mag, but nothing larger?

... I guess that’s the point. Make them ALL “registrable”...

RE :”Already, people are starting to forget. That is why Obama is trying to get as much as possible as quickly as possible.”

Yes, the Dems are saying exactly that on MSNBC, they are saying they must get these up for votes fast before the public moves on.

But they dont have the House fortunately and will hopefully get no vote there, the senate might pass some bills.

The public has already moved on.

The news media in the US is increasingly corrupt and driven by a coordinated agenda.

Enough.

Good point.

But, I plan to hide some things just in case they’re needed later.

Well, they'll likely get their “high capacity magazine” ban, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to do much of anything about it as obviously the vast majority will not be “turned in”.

However, it's well past time to prepare to go on the offensive if they pass any kind of “Assault Weapon Ban”, IMO.

Use it or lose it. Take the fight to the domestic enemies, and I mean immediately after any “confiscation” effort commences. I would also suggest starting an offensive at the beginning of any so-called “amnesty period” if such nonsense is mandated.

In the end, if they want to attempt to start confiscating from citizens, it's immediately time to turn the tables on them and start “confiscating” their possessions and put them on the defensive. If they start Ruby Ridge or Waco ops, then put them under siege as well, surround them and get the initiative at the outset.

Hit them where they breed!

Anyways, sorry for the rant, just so sick and tired of reading so many posts about how there is nothing we can do but submit and we have no chance and after a few people are made examples of we will all willingly turn in our weapons. It just pisses me off to see so many cowards that have little or no imagination. I feel that Americans are very intelligent and are quite capable of stunning ingenuity when faced with "impossible odds", and I'm not a fan of so much "negativity".

It’s not me who needs to understand what you’re saying, it’s our “elected legislature” that needs to understand.

And seeing how fast they really want to push this, we need to do something now to get our representative to understand their duty as OUR servants.

Why should they get anything?

The Dems have two of three houses.

The GOP has one.

Stop it. Cold. GOP wake up would you?

Stop being wimps. We do not respect that. Stand up.

Imprecise language aside.

The GOP has veto power here.

USE IT. You might find a whole lot of support, and a whole lot of backing, if you stood for something.

Finally.

How can they ever regulate magazines under a grandfather till death clause?

There are gazillions of them and no one knows who has what.

In California, the 10 round Magazine applies to Semi-auto Pistols as well. Here we have the “approved” Handgun list, coming to a State near you.

Funny how the Rat introducing this is from the formerly Free State of Colorado.

Well it is somewhat heartening to hear the Democrats are going to push their anti-America agenda again. It won’t pass, I think even quite a few Dims are going to keep their distance, and at least it will help us hold the house in 2014.

TOTAL ABORTIONS (murdered babies) SINCE 1973:
54,559,615 (approx.)

Why don’t they ban abortions instead and really save some lives?

“Gun Sales Up, Crime Down”

January 2, 2013
by Sam Rolley

“Gun sales are up in California and, contrary to what politicians and the media say, gun deaths and injuries in the State are down sharply.

Firearm dealers in California sold 600,000 guns in 2011, almost double the number sold in 2002. Over the same period of time, hospitalizations due to gun injuries declined from about 4,000 annually to 2,900, a roughly 25 percent drop, according to The Sacramento Bee...”
