The House Democrats (Diana DeGette, D-CO) are submitting a bill in the next few days to Congress to ban any magazine over 10 rounds in capacity. We must act now to stop this erosion of our 2nd Amendment rights!

I think they are trying to ban any gun that accepts magazines of 10 rounds or more. That is effectively every semi-automatic rifle and handgun in existence.

They want us back to bolt action rifles and revolvers.

Any person using a banned magazine in a gun in order to further some other crime, automatically gets put to death?

The Communists would love it.

The new law would read: "Possession of a firearm at the same time you possess a 30-round magazine is a felony..." There's your crime.

“No.”

[It’s a complete sentence, and needs no qualifiers.]

Instead of gun magazines how about we ban print ones like Newsweek? That’s something we can all get behind.

graham may love to lap dive on boy toys and pack fudge but he is an AR-15 owner and has stated that he supports the Second Amendment. We must attack these creatures when they are wrong but we must also support them when they are correct.

What I am hearing from people close to my Congressman is that NO GUN CONTROL will make it to the floor of the HOUSE. Lawsuits will fly if bammy tries and EO.

I tend to agree. We have no advocates in Congress anymore on either side. It’s as if we are in a free fall zone of accelerating tyranny.

And what happens when the next mentally ill shooter in a “gun-free” school zone uses a 10 round magazine? What’s next, a 2 round mag?

Won’t work. He is a gutless, backboneless, surrender monkey and cry baby.

He has presided over a catastrophe in the House. He helped craft the entire mess we faced with the Bogus Committee and the Sequestration Cuts which played into Obama’s hands. He voted with the DEMOCRATS to get that miserable bill passed this week and indicated he would do NOTHING to cut off fudning for Obamacare, something the House CAN and SHOULD do. He will cave on gun control and every other single issue which comes before him.

He is a moral coward, a disgrace and deserves to be shown the road.

I think he faces a strong choice right now:

Either stand up and fight, or get out of the way.

Look time and again our side have compromised on this or that only to be immediately lambasted later as having caved.

That is enough. The GOP needs to turn the table on the Dems. Win. The win again. Time and time again, win.

I’ll say again, just for good measure.

Win. :D

“Magazine ban?” Her I thought they were addressing the need to ban Newsweek and Time magazines. Might be a better place to start than with firearm magazines.

>>I plan to hide some things just in case they’re needed later<<

You won't need to hide anything. They will not come door to door confiscating weapons.

What they will do, is confiscate them if you take them out into public and throw you in jail for noncompliance of orders to register or turn them in.

Door to door.....I think they know that would be a huge mistake.

Just about any semi-automatic pistol will accept a magazine with greater than 10-rd capacity, if you can find one.

I totally agree with you. But I know Boehner is constiutionally incapable of performing at that level. I hope Cantor replaces him. It can only be an improvement. How much of an improvement, time will tell.

By the way, Ryan is now on my loser list along with Boehner and Romney. He voted for that bill and came up with an absolutely assinine defense - as stupid as his performance in the debate with that braying jackass Biden.
