My 1st paycheck of the year was deposited today. Guess what? (vanity)

Posted on 01/05/2013 3:37:47 PM PST by ReaganÜberAlles

It's smaller.... not a terrible amount but maybe a tank of gas a month or so, maybe more, maybe less. The Social Security tax break was allowed to expire apparently.

Thank goodness,.. we all know what a great system S.S. is.

This is the deal that Obama wanted and the deal we got.

Check your paychecks,.... if you're lucky enough to receive one in Obama's "robust" economy,...see what you find.

It's nice to know that I am one of the "rich" now. I guess if Obama can't define you as rich, then he just defines rich as.......you.

Plus, as a bonus, no one cares anymore about those 4 Americans that were murdered in Benghazi on 9/11/2012.

Brave New World indeed.

The revolution will not be televised. And it won't be on the Internet or Facebook either.

Den of thieves running the country. My check was less, too. More to come, I’m afraid.

My first check will be next Thursday.
As will the guys I work with.
The guys who have been telling me since the 1st, “Our taxes won’t go up.”

Heh-heh!
I hope it’ll be a wake up call.

No self-respecting union member in America would accept any decrease in their pay, let alone cuts of $30 to $50 dollars a week, without going on strike, shutting down companies, entire school systems, it would be chaos.

And most non-union workers would be angry enough to begin seeking other employment if their companies lowered their paychecks.

Yet we’re supposed to expect no negative reaction to the Obama tax increases? Workers will just sigh and the gentle sound of ho-hums will be heard across the land.

But this is America, where everyone expects to improve their lot from year to year. And what purpose do unions serve except to increase workers salaries? The sleeping giant of America who has been lulled into a delusional dreamland by Obama and his promises that only the rich would suffer under his benevolent rule is about to wake up and become very angry.

What happened to the Tea Party big gatherings?

They were demoralized after the new GOP House they put into power did absolutely nothing to defund ObamaCare or cut spending.

What happened to the Tea Party big gatherings

They matured, went to work volunteering for candidates and trying to sway individuals.

They couldn't win against President Claus and the Obamaphone and his Stash and the Stupid Volter, I mean Voter.

Top it off the E-GOP stuck it in our gizzard.

Frig-um' I am staying home in 2014....

This is not a tax increase.

Taxes went up.

That is the very definition of a "tax increase".

It doesn't matter where they were before they were 4.2%. They went from 4.2% to 6.2%, ergo a tax increase. (And it wasn't a 2% increase either...from 4.2 to 6.2 is a 47.6% increase.)

I’m about to decide to accept Obama care joyfully and let all the young dummies who voted for him pay for my healthcare. At least until the death panel says they can stop paying for me.......

That is a very good book.
When I bought the book at a book store in Berkeley,
the clerk actually hissed at me.
All I could think to say to him was”ah,a closed mind”.
“You need to read this book”.

I bet you bought it at Half Price Books in Berkeley. I love that store. Too bad I have to go to Berkeley to shop there.

I was working today and a woman I work with asked me delicately if I had a decrease in my paycheck...I hadn’t looked at it, but she was scouring her paystub to figure out why, where it went. She narrowed it down to Social Security, and her tax on that line had risen from $70 to $107.

Business as usual now.

The most I recall seeing was 23, but even that might not be a record.

Haha, me neither. It became kind of a morbid interest to see just how far it would go!
