On December 29, the owner of American Spirit Arms; Joe Sirochman relayed this chilling news via Facebook:

All, My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms and I wanted to share my recent experience with Bank of America .(which we have been doing business with for over 10 years)…. Everyone is familiar with the latest increase in guns sales , dealers selling out of inventory , Manufacturers back logged for months , large revenue all generated in the last two weeks …. American Spirit Arms is no exception to the overwhelming demand . What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500 % causing our web site E commerce processing larger Deposits to BANK OF AMERICA ..Well, this through up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America . So they decided to hold the deposits for further review , meaning that the orders/payments that were coming in through the web ,( being paid by the customer and that were shipped out by American Spirit Arms ),the BANK was keeping (UNDER REVIEW )..as you could imagine this made me furious…

After countless hours on the phone with BANK OF AMERICA I finally got a Manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for FURTHER REVIEW …

HER EXACT WORDS WERE … ..” WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING GUNS and PARTS ON THE INTERNET “

Agreed. This vanity/article/whatever is bull. Fearmongering is not what needs to happen right now. We need clear and concise fact. Obinga and his minions are doing quite enough without people going ape on bouncy tales. Oh, and upthread: sedition? Ummmm...no.

> What is legal today, can be made illegal tomorrow. It is the way of government. Change the rules all the time, at any point in time, to attain the result desired

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand

The more corrupt the state, the more it legislates. – Tacitus

No man’s life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session. – Mark Twain (1866)

A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money. – G. Gordon Liddy

B of A has always been a POS outfit. I’m not surprised.

Agreed. B of A was the first company on my lifetime boycott list. Anyone on FR who does business with them needs to close all B of A accounts.

Thank you for the thought, though my quote deserves NOT to be in the company any one of those you quoted, much less all four. Most kind of you, ntl.

BofA has robbed a legitimate business. If they can do it to one they can do it to all. If anyone has deposits in a Bof A they should pull them immediately...if they can.

B of A can be liberal now because of all the government business and money they handle

This is just Gun Control Nazi nonsense. This arms manufacturer needs to sue the hell out of a B/A...and Business Socialists need to step back

I took some rollout work (out of desparation) for BofA through a more worthless crowd called the Roelker group. After that experience, I would pick up cans on the side of the road before I ever got in any dealings with them.

Their IT types cry like little kids, the branches behind the scenes in most are just filthy, and they cried about paying for anything.

60 million voted for Romney. Heck, it would take only a fraction of that number to legitimately flip the Country back onto the path of Liberty.

Romney wasn't much of a prize. He could have run as a Democrat, which is exactly why the GOP-e preferred him. It's impossible for a Ronald Reagan type to get elected now because of the demographics. The only thing that could possibly bring America back is something very terrible, like Iran nuking NYC, total world war, or a plague wiping out millions of city slickers.

True.

I’m a BOA client by default (Merrill Lynch clients absorbed by BOA).

Seriously, the best custom service ever. They have saved my account from theft twice.

Bank local. We’ve banked for decades with a local bank where we knew the founders and still are on a first name basis with the people in the branch we usually use. But they were bought out and now we’re thinking of moving to a savings and loan that is only in Kansas.

The BofA ia nothing but a lackey of the Demoncrats and the federal government. With respect to the Constitution of the United States of America (Long may the Constitution live!) the federal government is noting more than an illegal criminal enterprise.

The current exercise of the second amendment rights is the direct response of the people to the current state of the government. Only a fool would not recognize that response.

The battle between the people and that illegal crimal enterprise, of which I speak, draws closer every day. It will take only one foolish act by the government, perhaps in the belief that they can win, to precipitate that battle.

I find it remarkable that some well meaning folk actually believe that the Constutution is dead. To them I ask, How do you kill an idea? The Constitution is noting more than an idea put down on paper. It lives in the hearts of the American people and can never be killed.

Those that pervert of our government; not just politicians, my friends, will pay the actual price in real blood when that day comes. And it is coming soon. Doubt me? Ask those that are are armed or currently arming themselves.

You cannot kill an idea. The government belongs to the people and can be abolished at will. It is more simple than most people think.

Oligarchs, politicians, government and corporate theives beware. The day will come when you will pay the price for you perversions. The American people will not put up with your actions for much longer.

The day will come when the American people will hold their own equivalent of the Nuremburg trials. Hope to see you righteous believers of “the idea” there.

Andrew Jackson (farewell address)

“There is, perhaps, no one of the powers conferred on the Federal Government so liable to abuse as the taxing power. . . Congress has no right under the Constitution to take money from the people unless it is required to execute some one of the specific powers intrusted to the Government; and if they raise more than is necessary for such purposes, it is an abuse of the power of taxation, and unjust and oppressive.”

I recently worked for BofA in Charlotte-

I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN after seeing what I saw. This was the closest thing I saw in the private sector that resembled a fat, bloated government bureacracy staffed with a very large percentage of affirmative action hires. (very large percent)

I have no idea how they have not gone out of business

Thank you CondorFlight. What you said is so very true. If, however, we look at the broader spectrum of which the government has involved itself, and legislated thereunto, perhaps as much as 80 percent or more has been accomplished outside of the purview of the Constitution and is therefor illegal. It is not only outrageous acts that are illegal, but any acts or legislation that is without the law as expressed by the Constitution. This includes twisting the Constitution such as the current use of the 14th Amendment.

This places the government outside the law. Outlaws.

More of Andy Jackson’s dangerous words:

” In your [the people’s] hands is rightfully placed the sovereignty of the country, and to you everyone placed in authority is ultimately responsible. It is always in your power to see that the wishes of the people are carried into faithful execution, and their will, when once made known, must sooner or later be obeyed; and while the people remain, as I trust they ever will, uncorrupted and incorruptible, and continue watchful and jealous of their rights, the Government is safe, and the cause of freedom will continue to triumph over all its enemies.”

(No wonder they won’t teach this in history courses anymore.)

One more sample of Jackson (too good to miss out on...) :

“You have the highest of human trusts committed to your care. Providence has showered on this favored land blessings without number, and has chosen you as the guardians of freedom, to preserve it for the benefit of the human race. May He who holds in His hands the destinies of nations make you worthy of the favors He has bestowed and enable you, with pure hearts and pure hands and sleepless vigilance, to guard and defend to the end of time the great charge He has committed to your keeping.”
