why not?

Because a hudna only lasts for a maximum of 10 years. Now that the “treaty” has expired, they’ll need more soldiers in dar al harb before they can continue their jihad against the US.

When an individual is determined to commit suicide, there is no real way to prevent them.

Here we have a nation that seems determined to do the same, and the same may apply.
