And why exactly should MY TAX MONEY go to this State for disaster relief?? Do you ever think that Maybe GOD brought this hurricane for a reason??
Why on earth cant you pump your own gas, and are you supposed to tip the guy that pumps it for you?
Lessee, I get to be taxed to death. Have the worst crap a$$ weather imaginable and I get to be a sitting duck victim awaiting some underclass thug to come in and have his way with my family completely defenseless-—where do I sign up??
The reason you can’t pump your own gas, at least on the NJ Turnpike, is that is was a job creation bill. Low skilled young people were given jobs. Period.
I’d rather have them working than roaming the streets, unemployed and uneducated, which, for parts of Jersey, is the norm.
In theory, having a basic job would let those who want to, attend a college in the evening. How this has worked out, I don’t know. If anyone does, please post it here.
