Sandy Hook and Christopher Rodia – Most ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ Can’t Think
JoeQuinn.com ^ | January 11, 2013 | Joe Quinn

Posted on 01/16/2013 5:55:19 AM PST by Uncle Chip

Apparently many alternative news pundits and Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists are still fixated on the idea that a man named Christopher Rodia was the REAL owner of the black Honda Civic that has been identified as the car of Adam Lanza’s mother and which was found outside the Sandy Hook elementary school.

The basis for this erroneous belief is police scanner audio that was picked up from the morning of Dec. 14th and details Connecticut State Police response to the massacre.

I obtained the original audio files from Radioreference.com. I had to pay a small sum for the full files. I have listened to them, and it is pretty clear that it is rather unlikely that the aforementioned Christopher Rodia had anything to do with the Sandy Hook massacre, even if his name and DOB is mentioned in the audio. This doesn’t seem to dissuade the conspiracy nuts though. In fact, it just makes them even nuttier.

What so many of these nutty people have apparently missed is the fact that the audio files clearly contain police communications about MORE than just the Sandy Hook event.

In the audio streams there are several communications from Connecticut State police who are clearly not involved in the response to Sandy Hook and are just out there doing their ‘normal’ jobs of stopping people for no reason and catching speeding drivers.

The Connecticut State police scanner audio from the morning of Dec. 14th 2012, as provided by Radioreference.com, begins at 9.34am and lasts for one hour until 10.34am i.e. it begins at about the time Lanza is said to have entered the school and lasts for one hour.

The media has always been a tool for disinformation.

And the media in this case are the You Tuber Trufers.

From what I remember, the videos weren’t available until years later, after people did FOIA requests for them. All I remember being released at the time of the shooting were still photos of the gunmen that were taken before the shooting.

It's hard to sweep all of that under the rug. But conspiracy idiots are doing their best along with willful idiots here.

It's just truly sick, and there seems to be a lot of here lately. There is no place in the conservative movement for wackadoodle conspiracy theorists. They make the entire movement look ridiculous. Each of us has to act a bit like Buckley and make a point of calling out the loons and making sure they don't poison the conservative message.

Conservatives have had a rough go of it these last couple presidential cycles and I realize that causes despair and some people will look to conspiracies for answers, but we don't have time for that nonsense. Alex Jones nutters are not welcome in the conservative movement. Period. It is up to serious conservatives to call this stuff out and drive the conspiracy theorists back to InfoWars, PrisonPlanet or whatever other crazy forums they populate.

Apparently, professional photographers photoshop many picture due to kids not sitting still, someone is missing from the photo (Pelosi did it and caused a ruckus), etc.

As I said, maybe the photographer photoshopped that picture.

The picture is not photoshopped by a truther.

The picture is from Facebook. Look at the URL of that photo.

But it shows a point.

Why not look at it objectively instead of just claiming someone did it to stir up trouble.

Why not be impartial when looking at facts.

There are people on this site that can’t conceive that the CIA could be involved in Fast and Furious. I can’t even count how many people have said I am loony for suggesting it...despite clear facts.

This , I know, - our government is capable of things that would make your head spin.

Just about anything.

"Sorry, it is 456 kids. So where are the pictures of 456 kids being evacuated in a pandemonium as shots are being fired. The thread you linked only shows a few kids."

Let's try this one more time. There was no mass evacuation. So you will not find pictures of 600, or 456 kids being evacuated in a pandemonium as shots are being fired, because that is not what happened. The school was on lock down and the children were evacuated piecemeal in small groups.

You have to remember that this is a post-Columbine world, and plans are in place at every school in the country to deal with just such a scenario. So, you shouldn't expect to see a chaotic Columbine-style evacuation, when every school has drills to prevent such chaotic evacuations from happening if a shooting occurs.

"Surely there is helicopter footage."

The helicopters didn't arrive at the scene that quickly, so why would you think that? The police are already taping off the crime scene in the footage that I saw, so I would think that the children were already evacuated by that time.

"Then the question becomes why is so much info being kept from the public?"

No, that only becomes the question if you don't understand that investigations usually have to conclude before the results of investigations are released to the public.

What’s this I hear? Is it the sweet, sweet clarion call of sanity?

Thank you, Longbow1969....I sincerely mean that. I detest conspiracy theorists, truthers, Alex Jones wackadoodles, the whole “we didn’t land on the moon” caravan of crazies and all the rest. They have no place....NO PLACE....in conservatism.

LOL. You do know, don’t you, that posts like yours will be quoted on lib threads to prove just how insane conservatives are? Because low info Obama voters lack logic and often a funny bone.

I have noticed that real conspiracy theorists are almost always liberals. The center of it is that they can’t reason or think logically, so the moronic makes sense to them. The Dem party knows this, and holds us up to scorn while simultaneously feeding their crazies idiocies as much under the radar as possible. It’s all topsy turvy.

They treasure their crazies. It’s nuts like Rosanne Barr and Cindy Sheehan that put them in power.

223s are intended to do maximum damage to the tissue and not just pass through the victim. You forgot that.

Interesting she has a head as big as the “Parents” while the other two’s are in normal proportions???

Even “nuttier” than Joe Quinn, I saw a lady on youtube at facebook making a search on Public Records for Adam Lanza. She could NOT find him in CT. She only found the “father” the “mother” and so called “brother” Ryan. She then did a relationship search for all three of them individually and NO Adam Lanza came up, hmmm!!!

I don’t believer her. I don’t disbelieve her.

Her account is one piece of the puzzle.

Intelligence Services around the world have disinformation specialists. One of their goals is to try to hide what really went on during some event. One tactic is to throw around crazy theories so that anyone who questions something is just thought to be a crazy.

What I am saying has nothing to do with that woman. I am not saying she is a disinformation specialist.

What I am trying to say is that people on this site that say conspiracy theories have no place in conservatism are just flat out WRONG.

And I like to point to MK Ultra. The ONLY reason the public knows it really existed is because Richard Helms didn’t get all the evidence destroyed.

If he had, the people on this site would be clamoring CONSPIRACY NUT.

I still can’t figure out what Sorcha Faal is up to...just stirring up trouble or a disinformation specialist for some regime. It could be either.

Just like Alex Jones could be either.

I don’t look at Sandy Hook as if it didn’t take place.

I look at what is being hidden.

I think you are looking at that picture all wrong. She has her legs between her father’s legs and has just rotated her torso toward the photographer — that’s all. Kids at that age are quite flexible —

To: I still care

Just answer the question. Where is the place for the legs?

You can tell me it was photoshopped by the photographer. It may have been.

Just tell me how that girl could be in that photo normally in that position as it is.

Remember all the questions about Obama? The libs throw around that anyone who question him is a nutter and is racist.

So what.

I am going to tell you right now, with no doubt in my mind, that the CIA was involved in Fast and Furious.

Call me a nutter

I don’t care.

A conservative SHOULD question the antics of the government.

Or you can just let them off the hook for Benghazi, Fast and Furious, and MK Ultra.

You must not be keeping up.

Perhaps you didn't see the folks who said that Emilie Parker didn't die in the shooting and met Obama later in the month. Maybe you didn't see the one that says that Victoria Soto's Facebook memorial was set up 4 days before the massacre, hence someone must have known that she was going to die and the government planned it.

The outlandish theories should be treated like the 9/11 conspiracy theories. That doesn't mean that there weren't legitimate questions about 9/11, and that the government lied throughout the investigation, just like the Sandy Hook case.

But all theories and questions are not created equal.

That could be.

It still doesn’t look like the proportions would be right but I am not a photoshop expert.

I can, however, tell the photo of Grandpa on the bench with Obama looks physically impossible.

Yes, you are a nutter. You're just like the people who screamed, "Where's the plane?!" after we got pictures from the Pentagon attack.

“And demonize a .22 calibre varmint round as “blowing apart” a human being.”

Wait, are you seriously proposing that the .223 round can’t be devastating to a human body? Why the hell would our military be equipped with a “varmint round” that is ineffective for killing and maiming human beings?

I don’t believer her. I don’t disbelieve her.

And therein lies your problem. She had no reason to lie and what she said is corroborated by police dispatches that everybody in that area could have heard LIVE as it was happening and many did.

I look at what is being hidden.

Do you believe that 456 kids are still being hidden at the school. That a town of 20,000 people can carry off a charade like this -- including kids???

If you want to find conspirators find the makers of those videos who do everything anonymously.

The conspiracy theorists say that we should be be enormously skeptical of everything we have have heard in the news about Newtown. Yet they seem to seize on certain bits of information that were reported right after the incident and are determined to be totally un-skeptical about those.

No I didn’t “forget that”.

One of the complaints about the .223 (5.56 nato) was that soldiers were getting pass throughs on smaller, thin individuals. I would think children would qualify. I have used premium bullets on Coyotes, hogs and deer. Never had one “blown apart” yet.

My problem with your statement is that you are making the .223 into something it isn’t. I don’t know if that is on purpose, ignorance, or you are just parroting what the News is telling you.

We are this close to getting the AR-15 platform banned. I have actually heard and read at least one politician say “nobody needs a rifle that can kill an elephant” referring to the AR-15 and the .223. Sure, a .223 can kill an elephant. Really. Hell, I can hit one in the head with a hammer in the right place and he’s dead.

So before you repeat the hyperbole please at least look objectivly at the facts. Both sides “facts” if you must. Is it a fact that the .223 can kill an elephant? Yes. Is it a fact that bodies are “blown apart” by the .223? Sure. Depending on what “blown apart” means to you I guess. See how easy that is. And so now those who don’t know will tell you I just said a .223 is an elephant gun and “blows apart” anyone who is shot with one. And why in the Hell would we need a gun that can do that?
