This is why we call him the Dear Liar. Example:

Obama 2008 - “I Am Not Going To Take Your Guns Away, That Just Ain’t True”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkUpp22fHyw&feature=player_detailpage

Today should be ample proof that is a LIE.

Actually the idea we had Romney is the reason there is a backlash on RINO Republicans and the GOP-e. Wee need candidates with substance not backstabbers. Remember not so long ago FReepers were on the Chris Christie bandwagon? How did that work out, with his “conservative views”?

His parents were born in Cuba.

Just as Obama’s father was born in Africa.

Just like Marco Amnesty doesn’t have the guts to admit he doesn’t believe in national sovereignty, borders, or natural born citizenship.

but would you put your trust in someone you’re not sure will stand together with conservatives in the end, and may just like the rest before him, sell themselves out for their own political gain and looking to get what the Democrats have and go for the Democrat/moderate vote while ignoring the conservatives?

If you think conservatism, the GOP and our country can survive amnesty of the tens of millions of illegals living here currently, you’re kidding yourself.

The people don’t support amnesty, but by letting it slide we’ve let slip in the risk, if not likelihood, that we’ve got a pro-amnesty House and Senate. More of a stink should have been made about this issue sooner.

Apparently many Freepers feel the need to make this thread about Rubio instead of making this thread about the point that Rubio made.

Not good.

Well said, other than the fact that those who do those kinds of things are not and never were Republicans, or conservatives, in the first place.

The citizenship issue regarding Obama is whether HE is a citizen or not.
The issue regarding Rubio is the definition of NBC with respects to his father.
You can think that both of them are ineligible, but you cannot equate the two and have any cred.

His parents were not
American citizens when he was born.

Therefore he is not natural born, which requires two American parents.

He is a citizen, thus eligible to be a Senator.

Obama is not natural born either, but that is because no one wants to defend the Constitution.

It’s comments like those that totally ruin the meaning of the word RINO. I have some quibbles with Rubio to be sure, and he might agree with some RINO’s on some issues, but he’s not McCain, Graham, Snowe, etc. THOSE are RINOs.

Call him what you want, but if your defintion of RINO is simply anyone who disagrees with you, it’s not much of an effective word. You will let us know when Reagan or Jesus returns, and runs as a Republican.

Worse, he said he doesn't think anybody should be allowed to own a gun.

I believe you're right. I forgot, was it John Lott that he said that to?

Definitely not good, especially when you read the garbage they’re spewing. If anybody wants to confirm their worst suspicions about the right (”bunch of ignorant bigots”), they just have to read any thread where Rubio is mentioned. I actually don’t believe that a lot of these people really are conservatives; I never see them on other threads, and I suspect a lot of them are just trolls sent here to stir up dissension and ill feeling.

What Rubio said is absolutely the truth. The point of the Second Amendment is not to protect hunters, and everybody knows that; it’s to allow the citizens to keep arms to protect themselves against the government, and Obama clearly does not believe in that.

Zero probably agrees with his buddy Billy Ayres that about 10% of US citizens would need to be eliminated to achieve their goals (a communist USA). I strongly suspect that Zero believes the same thing. He surrounds himself with Mao-adoring Marxists. The gun owners stand in his way. Gun owners will register, then later turn in their guns at their own peril.

It is not comments like mine. If you would pay more attention; you would see who he runs around with or is associated with. I at least try to see the big picture.
