Marco Rubio doesn’t have the guts to call an illegal alien a criminal, just another RINO looking to sell his soul for tee time with the One, there is no second party in this country, only followers of themselves in search of more wealth and power, the constitution and the bill of rights can be interpreted anyway they see fit so long as they get themselves re-elected, traitors!

Well of course Obama doesn’t believe in the 2nd Amendment.

He’s a communist.

Rubio is exactly right.

The Won knows that the bill of rights is a restraint on government, not a list of entitlements the government must provide or protect from encroachment by other citizens. He specifically lamented that when criticizing the Constitution. We have laws for that anyway. Murder is illegal, and government can punish those commit it, and should. But they can’t infringe on the rights of citizens because of what they, or others, MIGHT do.

I don’t think so. He’d lock Florida and win Ohio. Probably win Virginia, Nevada and Colorado as well.

He also is an energetic campaigner, telegenic for TV, is a great debater, and has the big IT...charisma.

—— The second amendment is nothing but a recognition by the government of the people’s right to repel tyranny. ——

We need to proclaim this loudly, and put an end to this deer-hunting nonsense.

Considering that even a number of Democrats are against Obama’s push for more Gun Control....Marco Rubio’s comments are not exactly earth-shattering “conservative”

Fact is that Marco Rubio is still an Amnesty Liberal. He agrees with Obama and many liberals on giving Illegal Alien Amnesty.

Since any form of Amnesty will bring up to 30 million people to legal status in the USA, and many of them eligible for government handouts....any form of Illegal Alien Amnesty will require one of the biggest spending programs in US history....as these former illegals will have to be brought into the system

This is what Rubio believes in. That is not conservative. You do not have to be a “purist” to figure that one out

If the GOP thinks that running a Cuban-Amer who is Amnesty Liberal will win a national presidential election...that would be like me thinking AJ McCarron’s GF will dump him and fall for me....

It is not your knowledge of Rubio that I dispute, it is the over use of the term RINO to the point that it’s meaningless. It’s your right to use it however you want. Its your right to call Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin RINO’s if you want, because I can find a RINO position or two even with them.

And it’s my right to explain why you mis use the term.

Well, your explanation just doesn’t make sense. It sounds more like you are baiting when you bring in names like DeMint and Palin. You are zeroing into the wrong thing. No wonder we can’t get together when we ourselves conquer and divide our own side.

The Constitution does not define the phrase ‘natural-born citizen’. It’s pretty difficult (if not ridiculous) to argue that someone born in Florida is not a ‘natural-born citizen’

Wake up tools! Rubio is a fraud and an immigration traitor who’ll be lucky to get re-elected to the US Senate seat in the next election. Hell Rubio could not even help the big pro-illegal Romney win FL vs Obama.

You are welcome to your opinion, I don’t mind being called ridiculous for what believing in what has always been the standard.

If you wish to look the other way for Rubio, be my guest and accept Obama also.

‘He was born in Miami. How is that not natural born?’

Allow me to answer -
Natural born citizen is citizenship by nature, i.e. by place of birth AND by parentage - born on US soil to 2 USA citizen parentS.
A natural born citizen has undivided loyalty to USA.

Marco Rubio was born to a father who was not a USA citizen at time of Rubio’s birth. His father was a Cuban citizen at time of Marco’s birth, therefore Marco has dual citizenship - Cuban and USA (if he indeed is a USA citizen due only to his birth in USA)

Who’s says so? Constitution says no such thing.

To be a senator, you must be a citizen.
To be president, you must be a natural-born citizen.
The Constitution says that. There is a clear distinction.

The problem is: the Constitution does not define “nature-born citizen”. There has, of course, been much discussion on this point. Many people point to Vattel’s 18th century book “The Law of Nations” — which was known to the founders — which defines natural-born citizen as someone born in a country, with parents also born in that country.

Because the Supreme Court has not clearly ruled on the issue, it is still somewhat up in the air.

I meant Rubio would lose big among Hispanics to whoever the Dems nominate. I think he’d lose a close overall race similar to Romney.

The founding fathers relied on ‘Law of Nations’ by Vattel to frame the constitution. The definition is in ‘Law of Nations’. There are numerous supreme court precedents defining nbc as one born on US soil to 2 USA citizen parents. Historic correspondences by the founders also define nbc as such.
Do some research on your own.

Remember- anybody who is born in USA, to parents who are not Americans, have allegiance to the parents’ country. The founders want to ensure that the president has sole allegiance to USA only.

Look at Marco R, his father was NOT a USA citizen at time of Marco’s birth, so Marco has loyalty to Cuba, and, it shows - he is for amnesty for his people here in USA!
