We need your continuing support to keep FR on the air.
FR is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving people who enjoy and use it.
We are beholden to no political party.
No outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers.
We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of liberty.
We cannot exist without you.
If you have not yet made your donation, today would be an excellent day to do so.
Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.
Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one, independent, pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense, grassroots conservative forum on the Net!!
And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!

Make it a monthly if you can. We currently have some very generous FReeper sponsors contributing an extra ten dollars for each new monthly signed up so here's a chance to get a little more bang for your buck!!
Thank you all very much!!
God bless you and God bless America!!
I also wished they lived longer and hope we'll get to see them again "on the other side."
We have St. Francis statues all over our Yard and some inside the house too. Our Jack is buried under his favorite St. Francis statue. You can guess the reason it was his favorite...lol. I’m sure they’re waiting for us on the other side, if we’re good enough to get there! Praise God!
Gee, my Rocket died at 17 as well. He lived for three years on borrowed time, and he was and is my favorite cat forever.
I remember your sweet Rocket’s passing. I didn’t realize he was also 17. How is Lucas doing? I’m praying for him, of course.
Lucas is still mourning for Rocket, and he’s down to 8 pounds. The vet said his blood work is in normal ranges, but his creatine is approaching the upper limit, so his kidneys will need some attention, even though his BUN is well within normal.
The office clerk called yesterday and said that he has no parasites in his stool. That gave me pause because the stool sample we gave them was to test for liver insufficiency, which I told the woman. She quickly ended the call, saying that the doctor would let us know.
Of course he has no parasites! He has never set foot outside of any of our houses, and he has lived in five* of them. He has been inside or in a kennel/carrier all his life, and he has never had so much as a flea. We have carefully quarantined all new additions to the cat family over the years. All of our cats are very precious to us.
*Our house in CA, Rental in Virginia, Rental in Ohio, Second rental in Ohio, Our current house.
IDIOT office clerk. Makes us wonder what tests were actually done on his stool! Dear Lord. I hope some of his stool was retained for the proper test, or that the IDIOT got it wrong.
Of course your homes are clean! I have no doubt. We won’t talk about mine. LOL.
“Are your Statistics people like our Assessors? Their reports set your estate tax?
No, that is assessed on the value of the house in 1995!
Why could he go no further than your front room? Our assessor look at everything and don't tell you when they're coming.”
It transpired that four households in our family had been 'Randomly picked'.
The paperwork in his folder was colour coordinated to coincide with your voting habits,i spotted this the week before on the pre-visit to arrange the meeting time.
These things caused a little suspicion so he was kept quarantined.
These surveys are not Compulsory but the data goes back to Big Gov, better to control the situation than be scrutinized like a lab experiment.
Maybe were paranoid, may be not, if you smell a rat get the shovel.
I learned that here!
We're looking for a new vet.
I'll pray for Lucas.
I’m so sad and sorry. I know you loved him and he loved you.
I’ve missed you terribly! So glad to see you!
Too many Vets truly suck, big time. We took our Jack to a Vet twice and then no more. DrO and I would treat him, using our best knowledge and yours. Heck, I would sometimes ask my own doctor and he would tell me what to do. He has dogs too!
LOL. Thanks very much! I thought so, too.
