It is not the job of the Federal Government to rebuild homes lost to natural disasters. If you can afford a home, you can afford insurance. Any benevolence in the form of financial aid should come from private citizens on a voluntary basis.
I agree 100% it is not the responsibility of the federal govt to rebuild houses BUT it sure is curious how the media thought it WAS Bush’s responsibility w/ Katrina but not obama’s responsiblity w/ Sandy.
