Open letter to Chief James Johnson Baltimore County Maryland PD
jan. 30th 2013 | Cap'n Crunch

Chief,

I was down at the station working out this morning, running on the tread mill. While I was running I was watching you testifying to the committee regarding gun control. I got so angry I decided to write you a letter. Since I couldn't find an e-mail address for you I decided to vent a little frustration here in hopes my thoughts will be viewed by someone who can forward them to you.

As I watched your admiring glances and fawning praise of Sen. Feinstein, I couldn't help but immediately notice how much you two resemble one another. If you were to put on a wig, some glasses and lipstick you could pass for her twin. Uncanny.

Anyway,

As I continued to watch, this recurring twins theme kept popping into my mind.

You both come from liberal states, both just adore the gun-grabbing IACP, both have no regard for the Constitutional rights you swore to protect and defend, both think that you speak for all of your underlings in law enforcement and both have overrated opinions of yourselves.

How do I know you have an overrated opinion of yourself? I spot it all the time with cops who think their job is some great calling. Especially those with rank. IACP Chiefs of Police seem to me to be the Sanhedrin High Priests of Law Enforcement. Willing to crucify the Constitution to further their political law enforcement careers. Your praise of Feinstein was nauseating, showed your true intentions and was inappropriate at that hearing.

You had no intention of being objective in this hearing, you came there to spout the IACP and liberal democrat talking points.

I see it with cops who bemoan (but is it bragging or complaining? I can never tell) before politicians of having to chase down violent crazed gun wielding psychopaths. (like you did)

Cops who exaggerate, like you did, of bullet casings littering the streets. Rampant murder and mayhem.

Why weren't there any pro-gun police chiefs, or more importantly, any County Sheriff's on the cherry-picked panel of law enforcement? Is it because County Sherrifs are elected by the people while liberal police chiefs get to bounce around the country and make big dollars moving up the law enforcement ladder?

Your 'kissy-face' love-fest with Feinstein gave us in law enforcement another black eye.

You don't speak for me. You don't speak for many of us. And it galls me to see you up there groveling at the feet of a government bureaucrat that sent illegal guns to Mexico that killed a law enforcement agent.

And that's all I have to say about that. If this gets deleted by the moderator, so be it. I feel better.

Good on you. Glad you feel better. I feel better knowing you feel better.
It DOES feel good to get weights lifted off your chest sometimes. And what better place?

I strongly approve. Police Chiefs like Johnson give police a bad name. Decent police officers who see their job as enforcing the law, along with preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution, make civil society possible. Chief Johnson is not on my side in the battle between freedom and slavery.

Was he wearing his Real Live Action Police Chief hat that’s about 3 sizes too big?

The second amendment is the litmus test for re-election.

Any politician who says “hunting rights” as the reason for the second is automatically disqualified from any public life. Not even dog catcher.

I left LEO work because of oxygen thieves like this guy. I got tired of seeing idiots promoted over better guys or worse going outside to bring in new blood.

Two good examples are Austin, Texas PD bringing is a California doofus and Texas DPS bringing in an FBI retread. Both have weakened their respective departments in the name of being PC and stylish.

No, but he had on his hotel door man jacket which looked way too big. And it was festooned with stars. I think all the glitter on his coat effected his brain.

Had so much on that coat he looked like a Mexican Corporal. No offense to Mexican Corporals.

That’s the IACP poison filtering in to PD’s all over the country. They gain control and go whack-job liberal.
