Imagine that a group of girls is going on a long camping trip, supervised by adult volunteers who are young men you barely know. Would you let your 15-year-old daughter go?
Nearly every parent, I think, would recognize the folly, even though the men might well be models of good behavior. Why should our common-sense response be any different if the 15-year-old is a boy and the possible, even if not-likely-to-be-acted-on, sexual attraction of the adult supervisors is homosexual rather than heterosexual?

Our common sense reactions are thrown out the window on this, because we’re supposed to be liberal. Liberals adore homosexuals and homosexuality, so any policies which are against the homosexual agenda are verboten, in the liberal worldview.
Scouting taught skills that encourage independence and that doesn’t benefit big government.

Most scout troops are sponsored by churches or religious organizations. This is the first step to force them into violating thier own principles - or withdrawing from BSA. Either way, mission accomplished. This is an attack from within.
I guess they will have to drop that part about being morally straight in the boy scout oath.
The tactic of this crowd is to put their members everywhere, in media, movies, TV, weather forecasters, military, politics, and now an organization that deals with children during their formative years.
The end goal is complete and total acceptance.
The gay agenda is the sharp tip of Satan’s spear. Where it penetrates, great damage follows.
Real Scouters are actively preparing for war.

No, just redefine it like they do everything else. Bad is good. Up is down. Sodomy is natural.
Scouting is so 1900s; in my area they’ve been circling the drain due to 1) the lack of American children, and 2) the lack of worthwhile events. Many adults I know who took their children out years ago cited the focus on fundraising instead of kids’ activities as to why they left. Now troops are merging and campgrounds going on the auction block.
Maybe a lot of single moms are realizing that some stranger doesn’t a dad make...
