Nate Silver Predicts The 49ers Will Win The Super Bowl Today
SF Chronicle ^ | 2/4/13 | Kevin Smith

Nate Silver is betting on the 49ers to win today's big game.

The statistician and blogger has combed through data from previous Super Bowl games and noticed a trend where teams with the best defense ultimately over teams with better offense.

"The reasons that exceptional defenses fare so much better in the Super Bowl are still somewhat murky, but this factor bodes well for this year’s 49ers, whose defense belongs in the elite group," writes Silver.

That Nate ain’t so good when he doesn’t know the fix is in.

I predict he will get it right again before the 2014 midterm elections.

Exactly. This guy is the equivalent of an inside trader. He has access to the polling of the Obama political team, and then goes public with predictions based on that. His history is sports money-ball, but he has significantly worse accuracy level than most here.

I think he was chosen to make the dem sheeple understand the fix was in without saying it.

I will never believe that the 2012 election wasn’r rigged.

:: when he doesn’t know the fix is in. ::

I was trying to explain this to my wife last night. The whole Washington DC/Ray Lewis/Black Thuggery connection but, soon I started sounding like a loon so I stopped.

Doesn’t mean it wasn’t fixed...

I’m not going to criticize him too much. Nate also predicted that Obama would win the presidency when a lot of us couldn’t believe that his polling model was right.

The lights going OUT to kill the Ravens’ huge momentum is not the FIX????

The fix was in alright, it was to be GAY DAY PARADE in SF for the NFL’S coming-out party.

No one told the Ravens about it, though...

Silver got all of his election “polling” data from David Axelrod. None of what he published was his own work.

The “power loss” was intended to slow the Ravens and make it look close. And, it worked but the end result was never in doubt.

When the play-by-play announcers talked about the 49ers special teams players “relaxing” on the run back, someone got real jittery. CBS was actually telegraphing the fix. When they came back, Nantz repeatedly made excuses for the players by explaining the kick trajectory and depth...they even put up a replay to explain it.

They were on the side of the dome that lost power. Did someone walked into the booth in the dark and have a nice little talk with them?

I also noticed that all the CBS folks were wearing waht appeared to be the Secret Service lapel flag.

Has anyone seen my Reynolds Wrap?
