The polarizing debate over whether Boy Scouts of America should allow gay members could culminate with a vote on a new policy Wednesday.
But no matter which way the vote goes, activists on both sides aren't going to be satisfied.
The controversy pits leaders of religious groups that sponsor about 1 million Boy Scouts against activists who want the organization to end its ban on openly gay Scouts and Scout leaders.
Neither side is happy with BSA's proposal to let local troops decide if they want to allow gay members.

Telling people that murdering homosexuals is God’s command to us and that we’re disobeying God for not doing it and then claiming that it will result in Jesus telling us *Away with you for I never knew you* is absolutely inexcusable.
If he wants to go on some search and destroy mission himself, that’s his business. But to demand that others join him and then claim they’re damned for not joining him because that’s disobeying God is just wrong.
HE’S not God. God says, *Vengeance is mine, I will repay*.
God established governments to administer justice. Capital punishment administered by the government for certain crimes is not murder. Taking matters into your own hands is.
Granted the government has abdicated its responsibility many times over and in many ways, but that’s STILL not an excuse to advocate for anarchy.
That does not justify murder.
God already wrote the Holy Bible. You’re not going to find many takers here for the version you’re pushing, in which God is evil and demands we run around murdering each other.

That’s entirely different. That is not what he was talking about. He said that God commands me personally to go out and murder every homosexual I encounter. He said that God commands all of us to do that, including you. Then when I stood up to him, and pointed out the fact that god does not command us to commit mass murder, he accused me of being in the group of people he is commanded by God to murder.
Now, without hiding behind nuances, or changing the subject, do you agree with him that God commands you to murder homosexuals? If you don’t agree with that, quit pretending you do. If you do agree with it, have the courage to say so, without the cowardly head games.
When did I say I agreed with that? I never said we should go out and just kill homosexuals.
If homosexuals are propagandizing to children, promoting laws to make child molesting easier, trying to “normalize” sex with kids, trying to gain more access to children, then YES it is self-defense to kill them.
That seems pretty clear. That would include Obama, some of the voting members at BSA, executives of corporations that pull their funding from BSA for not giving greater access to homosexual pedophiles, teachers who tell their students that homosexual activity is normal, church officials who allow homosexuals in leadership positions, etc. I don’t agree that it’s acceptable to assassinate those people, but unlike Yosemitest, at least you spare the closeted fags. And unlike Yosemitest, you don’t seem to be claiming that God demands you murder them; only that it’s okay if you do. Unlike Yosemitest, I didn’t notice you telling anyone that prayer is a waste of time.

What war? Nobody was talking about war. We were talking about murder. We were talking about directly targeting specific people, and murdering them. Let’s not pretend it was about anything else.
You and he were talking about that, I am talking about the war against us by the barbarians at the gate who are specifically targeting children for their predations. I won’t pretend that it’s not a war.
Your first post on this thread was a defense of Yosemitest demanding the murder of homosexuals. In post 107 you gave specific details about the kinds of people you claim are fair targets for murder, because according to you their words constitute enough of a threat to justify murdering them. Now you want to pretend you were talking about war. Fine. Just don’t expect me to buy into that lie.

BSA is no doubt deliberating the Nazi threats it’s facing.
I heard on the news today that the Boy Scouts may be floating this “vote” announcement as a trial balloon to test for backlash. I also gathered the backlash has been profound, with a whole lot of Scout leaders saying they’ll walk away if the Boy Scouts decide to sodomize, and bring on board homosexuals to take little boys off into the woods.
The backlash has been stronger than expected. Some people are openly advocating hunting down faggots and murdering them.
That evil voice telling you to commit mass murder is not the voice of God.
