So, imagine that Bush is still President. The Times would be screaming for his head. The hyprocisy is stagering.

This move does bother me. Sounds like something the Russians would do.

Phlap ~: (from the title) ~ “When Can the U.S. Kill One of Its Own? “

When the President says so !!
After all that he has done , he has shown himself to be above the “Law of the Land”.
Who to complain to ? ... Holder ? /sarc

The US government targeting US citizens, targeting foreign nationals without a declaration of war, and violating national sovereignty is against everything I learned in school about our republic and our Constitution.

Each day our imperial President and our stupid, corrupt legislators strike another blow for tyranny.

How long will it be before some government hack decides to “off” an annoying fellow American by declaring that poor soul “an enemy of the state”?

Bottom line? As long as Obama is president it doesn’t matter. He can authorize the assasination of any American he wants, in any multiples he wants. The corrupt NYTimes and media will run interference for him.

We now have the tyranny our founding fathers warned us of.

***And does this deprive U.S. citizens of their constitutionally protected due process rights?***

Surely you jest.

The Consitution, and by extension our Bill of Rights, have been rendered meaningless for some time now.

I have it on good authority that George Soros and Warren Buffet are al-Qaeda operatives.

So, let's propose this scenario.

We now know that the CIA and other agencies monitor social media sites and likely other sites as well.

I post some comments that are misconstrued, intentionally or otherwise, by any one of these agencies.

As a result Holder now authorizes that drones equipped with infrared imaging and other high tech imaging scans my place of residence. Now, first off, who would even know that they are flying drones over my house scanning images and invading my civil liberties?

Second, what if they decide they find some image they don't know or like? Do I become the recipient of hellfire missiles? Does the SWAT team kick in my door, shoot my dog and ransack my house at 3 a.m.?

We are in the midst of tyranny.

When it is necessary or in the best interest of the country?

I saw this statement by Holder on U-tube, and couldn’t believe it !
I replayed it three times to really believe that he said this
And this is the man who swore to uphold the Constitution ,
whose job it is to protecting citizens’ civil and legal rights ?
No wonder the U.S. is turning upside-down !

Let's not forget that the Obama administration considers constitutionalists, veterans, Bitter Clingers and other conservatives all to be potential terror threats.

How soon before they decide they have the authority to start using drones to take out political enemies potential terror threats right here in Obama's 57 states?

We all know that once a leftist has the potential and the tools to do some skullduggery they cannot resist the urge to do it.

I know...this statement absolutely shocking! We’re headed for a tyrannical world of hurt in this so-called “land of the free”. This ain’t our grandpappy’s America!

Exactly. So the answer to the question in the headline would be; "Anytime time they friggin want to."

After all...who would report on it with the Obama Regime in power? Who indeed?

They seem to use "Nothing to see here, move along" as their missive to all the Lefty Liberal MSM outlets.

stuartcr ~:” When it is necessary or in the best interest of the country? “

Not stated , or limited to the best interests of the country !

How about declaring certain organizations, or persons as “Enemies of the State “
Such as : NRA , “Tea Party” , Second Amendment supporters, Republicans , etc., ..ad infinitum , ad noseaum ...
Without Juris Prudence and Judicial Process ,
where are the limitations ?
This opens up a whole new issue , and without Judicial Process , it is conceiveably possible to eliminate any opposition to the current regieme.
We already have a US Attourney General who says that Judicial process can be overlooked
for due process ( think administrative hearings, kangaroo courts , etc.)
