No problem. Enact a law prohibiting the cost from being passed along. Or get the news media to gang up on supermarkets who pass the cost along to the customers.

“enact a law” is NEVER the answer...at least in 99 percent of the cases.

Unless your law is aimed at curtailing the power of the government.

There it’s no way to force a gro store to not pass along prices. To do so would be the same as setting price controls. And that never, ever works.

Plus, if the prices aren’t passed along, then the voter doesn’t have an incentive to vote the bums out. The stores shouldn’t suffer b/c the PEOPLE elected morons. Let the people take the hit. And I say that as person who absolutely can’t afford any price increases.
