Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.
The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated. Always remember: the police don’t carry guns to protect you. They carry guns to protect themselves from you.
Because people killed in gang violence don’t matter as much as cops and their family.
Human nature. Non cops are viewed as the same level of “real”. The nature of the job makes it a very tight culture. Which is why this guy may have been fired. Rule #1 is you don’t rat on other cops.
They’re looking for one three hundred lb, 6” black guy so they shoot two Hispanic women.
Which is why police should not be trusted.

I saw that photo, that was insane. I couldn’t believe they weren’t killed. Unreal. I have a friend who lives in the area. While the nutjob is a worry, the cops after him are perhaps a much bigger worry.
I was watching the news earlier. Apparently the two women shot were driving vehicles the same make, model, year and color as that of the shooter. Other cops just opened up on the vehicles, because they thought the shooter was driving.
From then number of bullet holes in their vehicle. I’m amazed the women weren’t killed.
Agreed, but we both know that will never happen. It will be ruled a "good shoot." Has there ever been any other kind?

The first thing my Daddy tauht me about firearms was never to shoot until I was sure of my target and what was behind it.
They made a seive of that truck and obviously had no idea who was in it.
My advice to California drivers this morning is that if you have a Blue Pickup -—leave it home for the next couple of days. Drive something else.
These boys in blue are trigger happy, and they cannot tell a male driver from a woman.
And they want to take MY rights to own a gun away.
Compared to a .50 cal or some hunting ammo no, but it is a high velocity round.
It also has no rack on top and, oh yeah, wrong make and model.

I dunno about the other MSM channels but FOX has been playing the story and the guys pics, he is a highly military trained police officer, military trained policeman gon rabid with a vendetta, is a staunch Obama supporter and believes in going after his concieved version of enemies.
Which would suggest this guy will go after anyone for an Obamagod sacrifice.
I am actually thinking this person will see how many gifts he can bestow for Obama.
Wish this had happened to me.
I’d be picking out my Swiss chalet, my Colorado summer home, my northern fishing cabin, the Ivy league colleges for my kids, etc etc.
While it's only rumor, the police chief was heard off camera offering to cut the guy's grass and wash his car for the next two years........
