I’ll be watching Westminster KC, not The Mutt.
We had a couple old TV’s that we wanted to get rid of them. Just for kicks, we shot the screeens out with a .22 pistol. (my wife was kind of wondering why I was taking the epistol into the basement)
I should have saved the TV’s till the SOTU Speech.
I mentioned over dinner the other night I was considering watching his majesty. My wife looked up and said is your will prepared, if so, go ahead because it is sure to double your blood pressure.
Is there an old Jimmy Stewart movie on TV ?
I am going to be watching Anonymous in their twitter feed. :) and looking for Ted Nugent afterward.
It is going to be a fun night!
Ive got a bellybutton full of lint Ive been meaning to get around to.
-—— ———— -——————————————————
I would choose your belly button lint over watching Obama, too. (Thank God that I don’t have to make that choice. LOL)
What came first, the maggot or the fly?
I intended too, but I have to give my goldfish a bath. But seriously, my wife has pretty much prohibited from watching. That lying, arrogant sack of excrement gets me so pissed off.
I think I will paint the family room ... then watch it dry.
Will you watch the State of the Union address?
Yes, I watch it every year.
No, I don’t find it interesting.
I will never watch nor listen to that piece of crap communist dictator Obama.
I wish stupid fox radio “news” would stop putting that thing on , when I’m trying to listen to Rush. Fox news radio is just as much liberal/socialist propaganda as the rest of the media
The Westminster Kennel Club show is on tonight. That will be the only thing on our TV tonight.
MSN lead article: “What’s at stake for Obama tonight
It’s the president’s last chance to go big & push for bold action on gun violence & immigration.”
“Comrades! We have glorious ... “
“Gun violence” He’s from Chicago. “Immigration” BS!
Why should we watch that clap-trap? To hell with him.
I prefer to read about it, and listen to Rush’s take the morning after.
Washing my hair..
During the PGA Golf tour? Forget it!
Unfortunately, our local station is showing “Plan 9 from Outer Space” at the same time. No contest.
Sabres vs Senators @ 7:30pm on MSG
Yup! Same here. Tonight is the Sporting, Working and Terrier Groups, Best In Show
I read somewhere they spray him before appearing in public.
His Spray Czar, personally, does it. I don’t watch the maggot, so I don’t know if it works.
Why raise your blood pressure watching Obummer and the SOTU when the Westminster Dog Show is on the USA channel?
No thanks! I like my TV the way it is... sans holes! Also my spouse does not like it when I fire weapons in the house. She gives me her not happy face!
Not this year. Or the next three years. I’m done watching him. Before the election, I’ve taken to muting my TV whenever his face shows up. He always seems so angry.
I like it! Looks like it could be applied to lots of other situations besides the SOTU.
I don’t think I’ve watched a single SOTU address by Obama. What’s the point? He’s just lecturing, lying, and being a general dictatorial ass. I have an unwatched “Walking Dead” episode and “Aliens: Colonial Marines” for Xbox to keep me busy tonight.
No. Can’t stand to listen to him for 2 minutes. If I agreed with everything he said, I’d still want to put a tack in his chair.
That guy in the red T shirt looks like Colt Ford.
I was just going to say the same thing...Is it Colt?
I know there will be some brave FReepers with strong constitutions who will be watching it, along with a live thread. I’ll just skim the live thread tomorrow to see if there’s anything I missed (probably not). And thanks in advance to you on the live thread!!
All politicians are untrustworthy in my opinion. But Obama is an a enemy (enema?) of the United States; that sets him apart.
We are very selective today on what we allow to be viewed on TV in our home.
ANYTHING obama is not welcome. It’s great. Peaceful, serene and cleansing.
Thunder at Jazz. Will it be 5 strait blowouts for KD and Co.?
Yes it is...
“I can handle Rubio...Its the Asshat that precedes him. I guess I could mute His Lameness.”
I was just thinking - maybe I could take a hydrocodone pain pill (I have them) and drink a Corona Light beer right after taking the pill, then I could get through Hussein’s speech (which I want to hear (again, knowing my enemy) but be numb while listening), then listen to Rubio.
Got the Time Channel all queued up ready. Gonna watch analog this year.
“Ill be watching Westminster KC, not The Mutt.”
Shoot, I briefly forgot that dog show = I watched it last night - yes, I’m going to watch it tonight. I’ll watch the Hussein speech re-run later tonight.
One of my wives best friends was in the Hound Group last night with the 15” Beagle. It is the first puppy she EVER bred. Unfortunetly, she did not make the cut. She was very nervous. However, it is a huge thing for an owner, breeder, handler like her/us just to win the breed when you are up against a bunch of high paid professional handlers.
We chose to stay home this year. My wife did not like the judge. It is a fun show to go to IF you are not showing. Showing at the Garden and staying in NYC is very expensive.
$200/night or more for hotel. $45/day to park. Dinner out is $150 for two. etc, etc. Atleast this year the breed judging was done on the west river at the Piers. The benching area off the floor of the Garden is extremely crowded and small. It is also a bench show, which means you need to stay with your dog/bitch the day you are showing. Rich people will hire a security gard to watch their pup so that they can leave.
No, I might destroy my 52” TV in the process...............
“One of my wives ...”
A true glutton for punishment I see.
