A THANKFUL HEART
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. Philippians 4:6
Years ago I taught a message saying that when you ask God for something, you should thank Him ahead of time that you are going to get it because that will help release your manifestation. I believe that. I took the scripture above to mean just that, that when I prayed for something, I should start thanking God that it was on its way. But one day God revealed a broader scope of that verse to me. He said, "No, what I am really saying there is that when you pray and petition Me for anything, make sure you are doing it from a foundation of a thankful heart." Then He went on to say, "If you are not thankful for what you already have, why should I give you more to complain about?" In those days, I had a complaining heart, a murmuring, grumbling, faultfinding heart. I could find a thousand things to grumble about, but God does not want us to have a grumbling heart. He wants us to get to the place that we are living epistles, read of all men. From our lifestyle, people should be able to tell that there is something different about us, "Why are you so happy? Why are you so peaceful? Why are you so loving?" We are supposed to be salt and light to the world. Our lives are supposed to make people want what we have. To answer your question from last week...there is a way to hear it live. iPhone and Android have the AFN 360 App and it streams the radio. Pretty sure it will carry the b-ball games.
And IIRC the Pentagon Channel will rebroadcast the games a few days after AFN carries them live.

I walk around the perimeter as she plays, until she is totally exhausted. Then I say, (In the immortal word of DDE), “OK. Let’s Go.”, and she trots along behind me to the gate. Then I reattach her leash and we go to the car.
Benches are for sissies. LOL

The wind was and still is bad here today. Ran me off the fishing marina earlier.
I went fishing today and caught one big crappie. Guess we will have fish for dinner tonight.

It could be depression, meds, or mini-strokes or a combination.
You take care Kathy and I hope today finds you well.

Well...finally FR is back up and running, thank goodness. Almost 4 days in the dark.
I never got to post back to you that things are going ok. Taking care of my elderly parents and working take up ALL my time.
All is well with you?
