Let me clarify that. Obama's re-election had noting to do with Jews.

Here we had a man who was a total unknown, and was elected based on feel good politics, and the promise of hope and change.

I understand that.

BUT can you name a single action he took during his first term that didn't:

1. Harm America
2. Alienate America's allies
3. Empower Americas enemies

or some combination of the above?

Me neither. Re-electing him was an act of national (attempted?) suicide.

I would have used your reasoning that Israel wouldn't retreat to the 1967 borders as it would mean death to prove that America wouldn't re-elect Obama, it means death.

We did it, they will do it. I don't like it. I don't think it is rational, but there are clearly other forces, dark forces, at work here.

I think that, despite their political divisions, the Israelis have a stronger sense of national identity and will to survive than the people in this country. For that reason I strongly doubt that they will agree to indefensible borders, which is what they would have if they returned to the pre-1967 boundaries.
