I’ve had about enough of this crap. Was trying to watch USA Network, today, while catching up on laundry. It was another NCIS marathon. The commercials were FILLED with a PSAs against ‘homophobia’ and a damned show called ‘Necessary Roughness’....which seemed to be all about some GAY player.

We could stop this nonsense in its tracks by everyone declaring that they are gay. It’s not a legal status as far as I know. Has anyone seen a government issued gay card? The left would then have to coopt yet another word that when The Sound of Music came out, meant happy.

It agitates the hell out of my cousin that I don’t acknowledge it and a treat both she and her girlfriend like anyone else in the family.

One of the guys I grew up with is gay but he says its not the central issue of his life and it shows because he doesn’t spend his life angry. He knows I don’t agree with it but it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve disagreed about something over the past 30 years.

I also want to see someone with a radio/TV show ask why it is that people can discuss gay TV shows at work without getting fired, but not BDSM videos.

I am sitting here, watching the 5th Round of the English FA Cup between
Leeds United (my old faves) and Manchester City, from Elland Road in Leeds. I’ve been a soccer fan since 1971, when I first got assigned to the UK. While stationed in Rome, I lived 20 minutes from the Stadio Olimpico, and I took my sons almost every Sunday to see As Roma or Lazio play. Later on, during a tour in Argentina, I got to see the once-great Diego Maradona play. I am a veteran, father of three children, grandfather of five and great grandfather of one. I love soccer and I am straight. Fox Soccer Channel rocks!

I only watched a little of the SB and did not watch halftime. I never do, especially after the Janet Jackson crap, so I missed the homofest.
