The "anonymity" of such things is merely a polite convention. If the-powers-that-be have sufficient motivation, they can and will track down the authors of any "interesting" correspondence.
And who exactly do you suppose are the people who set up the "anonymous" e-mail and proxy systems? How do you suppose they make enough money to cover their expenses?

Now that you mention it someone on one of these two threads said they had cancelled the event. heh I wasn’t sure if that was true or not. Looks like it is. They may just be switching out to a new signup webpage if they discovered that one getting spoofed. Or they chickened out. lol
