Juan Williams: Liberal media Will ‘Shut U Down, Stab U Kill U, Fire you’ If U Disagree [VIDEO]
Daily Caller ^ | February | Grae Stafford

Posted on 02/24/2013 3:45:15 AM PST by lbryce

Fox News political analyst and “Special Report” panelist Juan Williams said in an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas that mainstream media outlets “stab” and “kill” dissenting voices.

Williams was fired from National Public Radio in 2010 after saying he sometimes gets “nervous” when seated on an airplane with Muslims, while making a broader point about the importance of religious tolerance.

“I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded about hearing the other side,” he said. “In fact, what I have learned is, in a very painful way — and I can open this shirt and show you the scars and the knife wounds — is that it is big media institutions who are identifiably more liberal to left-leaning who will shut you down, stab you and kill you, fire you, if they perceive that you are not telling the story in the way that they want it told.”

Catch the rest of the Ginni Thomas’s interview with Juan Williams this week exclusively on The Daily Caller.

Juan, like all the others at FOX, gets his talking points from management ~ and he’s been assigned the task of representing leftwingtardism.

My point is that if someone who aspires to be a citizen journalist concentrates on opinion only, then few will read it. It’s hard to differentiate oneself, at least as far as us conservatives.

But hard news is another matter. There’s an entire spectrum of news left uncovered.

Locally, its all the brother-in-law deals the county commission hands out. The local weekly won’t touch those stories, because it might upset the folks who dispense the legal advertising. And that legal advertising is the ONLY thing that keeps most weekly papers afloat.

Statewide, there’s the rot of the teacher’s union that metro newspapers won’t cover.

Once the citizen journalist builds himself some credibility by actually scooping the “real” media, then a little opinion is taken seriously by the readers.

Having heard Juan spout his left-wing drivel, I don’’t think he has learned as much as he claims about the socialists.

Wanna bet? There is an entire industry of people profiting from facebook posts. Kardashian is the big example.

To be more specific, no one but the author makes money off a Facebook or Twitter post - except through second hand reposting. That cuts all the "consultants" and "experts" out of the loop thereby endangering their livelihood. Think how much money Karl Rove made during the last election cycle giving his "expert" advice while he wasn't running for anything himself. As always, follow the money.

I don't understand why any network would pay someone to just sit there and disagree
and lie "yes flauntingly lie" about anything positive about another political party.

And doing so by using 1% of fact mixed in with 99% disinformation then calling it truth.

Juan is a propagandist and imo not worthy of any title of the past such as journalist which used to
actually mean something to media personalities. Kisten Powers used to be
like juan but now looks at the Truth and failry discerns the politics as any
media talking head should.

Exactly. Anytime I see him on Fox, he spouts the same nonsense that he is criticizing in this video.

“The MSM in America is just an extension of the government when its not Republican....”

Actually, the MSM are first and foremost the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party, regardless if it is in power or not. The MSM are inseparable from the Democrat Party.

Even knowing this he will continue to spout the stupidest left-wing crap.

It is odd, isn't it. Maybe like Mayor Koch, he really believes a lot of what he says. OR, maybe Williams believes that continuing to spout the left-wing crap is a paycheck.

Maybe soon we will all agree that news commentation is designed to draw in viewers. If FoxNews for example ran 24/7 all conservative media what they would have would be a portion of the market. By having “the other side” they feel they garner more viewers. Whether the opinion is right or wrong is of no concern.

When Williams joined Fox, he began sounding more like a RINO than a lefty dem. That did not play well as he could not be used as a foil on any panel discussions. So I believe he was told to be more lefty in his presentations. Some of his views are now wildly off the mark and at odds with those he uttered at PBS. But, at the end of the day, these are entertainment shows, nothing more.

With the exception of NBC and PBS, the other networks seem to be moving toward a more balanced approach in the news. The CBS reporter for example gave a big boost to the gun running matter. There have been some isolated questions hurled at his excellency’s administration too of late from CNN and ABC. The battle over viewers is fought every day. I am not saying these places are going to become bastions of conservative thought, far from that, but the MSM have divided amongst themselves only one segment of the market and will try to make inroads where they can. Murdock has battled back btw with his shift more to the left of late.

Juan will go back to la-la land the minute they forgive his grievous errors. Once back in the fold, Juan will report from a high profile desk on the lunatics at the Tea Party, gun nuts in the crazy right wing, fanatics of the religious right and more. He’s a lefty, does not fit in over here and I don’t think he’s trying to.

Williams, Kristol, Kucinich,Beckle, are just some of the names responsible for Fox’s swing to the left. Not worth watching anymore.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio...hispanic, Dr. Ben Cason, Herman Cain, Clarence Thomas, black (aka: “African” American). Notice WHITE liberals demand all their “owned” and defined “minorities” behave according to a pre-ordained “script”... (no variance permitted!)... if/when they don´t they are to be punished... “whupped” with a ferocity similar to that of the slave catchers of the pre-Civil War south (”what yo name boy”?). Racism IS the Liberal mindset.

BTW: President Obama is a (black)WHITE liberal... he was not raised in the “African-American” experience. He has the same “ownership” attitude as do all his fellow WHITE liberals. He´s black only in his skin palor... has the Lib arrogance in all other aspects of life. Juan Williams now knows this, but is SO absorbed in a lifetime of liberal mindset, he is conflicted when truth kick his arse, so he often still spews liberal DemWittery!

No, there are entire businesses. Kim K for a well known example has a number of people who she pays to handle the posts ‘she’ makes. That’s part of her PR. In truth, half the posts are probably written by those same people posting as her. Nothing new or surprising there.

Point being, far more than one person can and does profit from social media posting. The consultants etc are the same people with a different job title making the same money. It just passes through different hands. The nature of the biz is the same.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not disagreeing with you per se. In fact, not at all. I just think that most people already trust a random net blog (and for good reason) more than the MSM. So bloggers being considered as hard newsies isn’t much of a stretch.

We’re going the same place, just down two different lines of thought.
