There's a video of a "runaway" windmill. The brakes failed and it's spinning out of control. Same place. It will either fly apart, burn or collapse. And all they can do is wait until it stops spinning.

They aren't supposed to load with ice either but they do. When the ice lets loose it really flies with force.
