It’s hard to grasp that a guy named Nigel Farage is such a political stud!

He’s the Chuck Norris of sarcasm. ;^)

You would rather be regulated from Brussels?

In the sense that the U.S. can ignore Brussels, but can't ignore itself, yes.

The same multinational corporations that push “free trade” are the ones pushing more domestic regulation in order to squash competition from mom and pop.
Is that why protectionists are statists?

I noticed that you completely ignored that the New world order globalists have been supporting communism ever since Stalin.
Yeah, because it's a stupid comment.

They are talking about a “free trade” deal between the USA and the EU at this very moment!

If it wasn’t Bronco Obama doing it, and say, Ronald Reagan . . . I’d be ecstatic.

But protectionists, who favor bigger government, intervention in the markets, and higher taxes, are freedom-loving capitalists. Got it.

Yes, but protectionists (by way of tariffs) who advocate for simplified or eliminated income taxes, returning the power to mint gold and silver currency to the Congress, returning the election of Senators to the various state legislatures, and clear rules for reigning in government power are philosophically no different than our Founding Fathers. NOW you got it.

Funny how, protectionists never speak of eliminating the income tax first, instead preferring to raise our taxes right away.

Good luck arguing with our resident Marxist, 1rudeboy is the local mouth piece for the progressive globalists here at FR.

Let hear from the man himself, Karl Marx

"But, in general, the protective system of our day is conservative, while the free trade system is destructive. It breaks up old nationalities and pushes the antagonism of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie to the extreme point. In a word, the free trade system hastens the social revolution. It is in this revolutionary sense alone, gentlemen, that I vote in favor of free trade."

Still having trouble with that quote, huh? Instead of teaching you reading comprehension, again, why don't you explain why you agree with it?

How do you tell a Communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

You all get to make plans for Nigel, while we are stuck with the Mayor of Simpleton :(

Bet you had your Senses Working Overtime to come up with that one.

Frankly, I’m surprised you can put the words “free trade” and “communist” together without bursting out in laughter.

Yes, he should have said "fascist" and I'm sure that would have made you happier.

But protectionists, who favor bigger government, intervention in the markets, and higher taxes, are freedom-loving capitalists. Got it.

There are risks with unrestricted trade among nations, whether losing key military industries, accepting pathogens and pests across borders, or penetration by terrorists and spies. You wish to socialize those risks while privatizing the benefits.

That's fascism.

From W. Cleon Skousen's famous list of communist goals (with thanks to FReeper forest):

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

Fits you perfectly lrudeboy.

Industries essential to national security must be protected. Even Milton Friedman understood. As for pathogens, pests, terrorists, and spies, I’d like to see you explain how placing tariffs on them helps.

Wouldn’t it be great if Nigel got elected PM. I love that guy. I wish he could run for President here. He would likely have won all 3 presidential debates decisively.

I love the common sense expressed in the video. As to the union of right-side parties, that’s what Canada did, and why they are the only major economy in good shape today.

On the other hand, American Tea Partiers want a divorce from the Republicans, saying that the constant back-stabbing by the liberal country-clubbers is intolerable. The Constitution Party is the alternative, but only a major party in Colorado.

P.S. I think Daniel Hannan would be a great PM.
