"...Rand refers to illegal aliens as "undocumented citizens" in the first sentence of the fifth paragraph, which is overly gracious wording not even the liberal media uses..."

New Leader of the GOP???? Rand Paul??

I think not, I think Rand and his filibuster supporters, excluding Old Mconnel and a few others are aiming for SO much more than leading this wore out GOPe party.

So much more and only time will tell how they will succeed.

"THE leader of"....not for me.

Rubio was an insider because he was Speaker of the House in Florida.

Rubio had to twist arms to get “imperfect deals” passed just like Boehner. Rubio got big money from special interests to do their bidding.

The RINO front “Tea Party” ginned Rubio up to beat Crist in the primary because the RINO’s were afraid of Charlie’s private life becoming public in the general election.

Rush has also been fooled. It really concerns me when both Mark and Rush are pushing Rubio as “the real deal.” HE IS NOT!

I don't trust Sen. Rubio as far as I can spit. He's been taught well by his mentor, Mitch McConnell. Rinos make me F-ing sick!

So who is the perfect conservative?

We are moving too slow.

It took us years to sink this far and it will take years to regain what has been lost.

Paul Ryan? He's back in the halls of Congress trying to figure out how to repackage his failed fiscal approach.

Paul Ryan's fiscal approach was never tried. So how could it have 'failed'?

Exactly. Rubio = Bush. Mark Levin has been fooled again.

Don't tell us. Tell him yourself.

I'm not a huge Rubio guy either, by the way.

Based on what? His support for Paul who voted for the confirmation of Hagel and Kerry? Being Domestic Policy Advisor to U.S. President George W. Bush? An Ivy League grad and Harvard lawyer?

Let’s play a game. One of these things is not like the others

Right now, I’ll settle for a “mediocre” Conservative.

I think we can do better than a pro-amnesty guy.

I hope so, but from what I'm seeing, there appear to be few promising prospective candidates.

"I don’t think so. Did you see Jeb on Fox News Sunday today? He looked like he had a hemmoroid."

And then the panel proceeded to crap all over him. Ironically, if he runs in '14, he could take out Rubio on fundraising, and then Rand would have a real shot.

Good answer and post. But I think it's TRUST, BUT VERIFY.

Same basic idea - I'm with you - wait and see...and hope.

Oh no. Paul Ryan and Rand Paul. Dang man - you can get twisted around trying to keep those names straight.

Paul Ryan and Rand Paul.

Can you image the confusion in the voting booths if both of those names were on the same ballot? Rots a ruck.

Should be Scott Walker. Too bad he won’t run for a higher office, but good for Wisconsin.

Yes, the quote from Reagan. However, I DO NOT trust any of these weasels until it is VERIFIED.
