I'm in San Diego for the California Charter Schools Conference. I was still in my hotel room on the 16th floor when I noticed a little swaying and creaking, lasting about 15 seconds. California doesn't let you forget where you are.

I suppose I should have run for a doorway, but I had forgotten my earthquake training

until this gets cleaned up you have to assume it’s validity.....lol

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Maps/10/245_35_eqs.php

But it might have been a series of quakes starting with a small 2.7 followed by three 4.7 quakes in rapid succession.

That would explain the downgrade.

I have traveled to and been in California many, many times over the years but the only ‘tremor’ I’ve ever experienced was in my home in the DFW area last year. HELLO!

With any luck, S.Cal and the coastline (where the vast majority of liberals live) will slide off into the ocean.

Hey! except for me..we live about 1/2 mile from beach, right on tsunami path :(
Thankfully, Orange County is still mostly conservative.

* I’ve been reading for years that either the San Jacinto or Hawyard fault will produce the next Big One, not the San Andreas but we’ll see!!

After the 2012 election I had read that Orange County went for Obozo. Is that true?
