Yep. I have a “benchmark” libinlaw that I guage the current state of the leftist mindset by. She’s proven to be a very good guage in the past, because she is so totally “of the world” that she’s a fish that doesn’t realize she’s wet.
She used to be pretty neutral on guns, but lately, she’s shifted pretty dramatically to a position that is adamantly opposed to private ownership.
I think the left is realizing that they will not be able to force their dystopia on the rest of us.
That caught my eye as well.
How does someone not know why they have a gun?

I own a variety of weapons primarily for the defense of my family and myself. Hunting is the least important reason for me. Most people I know own guns for the same reason and order of priority. I am surprised that anyone would be surprised about the results of this survey.
Or simply.......”Have you taken the kiddie porn off your work computer yet?” Spread that around a little and see how it feels to be guilty until proven innocent. Don’t feel very good now does it? Simpletons. Millions of lawful firearm owners are now in that “guilty” category simply because we choose to exercise our rights. We are all guilty of something now. Even if we didn’t do anything. NOT! Possible solution would be to exorcise some of these clowns out of office. Gettin’ a little tired of these radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbags and their “look down the nose” attitude towards us misguided peons.
