Boehner: Hey Mitch and Karl, look over there, a bunch of Freepers and tea party hicks waiting for us to do something conservative.

Lincoln wrote to Burnside, “My dear General, if you are not going to use the Army, I should like to borrow it for awhile.”

McConnell defeated by Ashley Judd. It doesn’t sound so laughable now. Of course, there’d be all that seniority gone.

Must be an election coming. That line worked in 2010. It should work again in 2014.

No kidding. McConnell only has a 100% conservative rating from ACU—that’s not good enough. Replace him with Ashley Judd. These folks here on FR have a death wish.

Mitch McConnell is the Pillsbury Doughboy, but without the aggressive machismo and public speaking brilliance.

(Primary elections? Priceless!)

Didn’t need to. The only time the sheep need pacifying is election time. From election to election they do as they pleased. But a vatation of that line worked on me in 2008 and 2012:”A third party vote is a vote for obama” When you stay home, it is a vote for obama” One poster on this forum posted to me that McCain would win in a landslide. After McCain picked Palin as his VP I did, against my better Judgment vote for the Republican Ticket. 2012 the same slogans, just different names, againI bit. As the guy on Swamp People said,”I don’t like to stand here like an idiot, but here I am.” I was fooled twice, but I if I am alive in 2016 and if obama allows an election to take place, should the Republican Party decide to nominate another Liberal, I will have no quams or problems casting a vote for obama via the staying home or voting third party route.

“You want Ashley Judd?”

I’d like McConnell to retire. He’s been there thirty years. But he won’t do that because he’s power hungry. So I’d like him to be removed from power in a primary.

Short of that, I wouldn’t shed any tears if he was defeated by a democrat, just so the republicans in the senate would have new leadership, since none will challenge McConnell and the rest would rally around him anyway. I’m tired of the go-along, get-along, pat conservatives on the head then undermine them leadership.

So this means you will be voting for Ashley Judd instead of a conservative with a 100% ACU rating? What has happened to the Free Republic of old that knew we must all hang together in order to defeat the real enemy--liberalism and Democrats.

I dare say that if the 2000 FL recount were to be today, many on Free Republic would be on the side of the Democrats.

And here you are yet again on another thread shilling to ensure the people who created the mess we live in stay in power. Tell me something. Do you ever put your love of the GOP on hold long enough to make a critical evalustion of their performance?

McConnel’s rating CAN be 100 because he is in the minority. What do you say to the fact that he goes out there and does everything he can to OBSTRUCT conservatives and conservatism in the public eye, undermines conservative congressmen/senators, plays the go along get along game like he invented it...THEN goes and makes a conservative vote that he KNOWS full well will lose to the Dem majority in the senate?

That is as freaking two-faced as it gets CGG. And YOU want more of it. So tell the class in clear and unambiguous language. How does one move right by voting for leftism?

The above wholly shows the leftism of McConnel. So tell us how more of the above id a GOOD thing for America.

I should have looked at your name before I replied. We’ve argued at length before on this issue. I want conservative candidates for office, not milquetoast moderates. And I want new leadership in the senate.

And no I will not be voting for Judd because I live in MA, where I am working to get Michael Sullivan, a real conservative nominated, then elected, not the phony conservative who the Scott Brown crony controlled republican establishment tried to push and was just exposed as an Obama donor and supporter.

And McConnell’s 100% ACU rating is a total sham cooked up to assist him in his reelection. On the Club for Growth scorecard, he’s way down the list, at 74%. And that’s not counting the number of unanimous consents that he and his caucus never object to so they can’t be held accountable for. Here’s backup.

About that 100% ACU rating for McConnell that was mentioned to you....that’s the same ACU that won’t sanction speakers against Norquist and his radical muslim loving friends or against Amnesty. The same ACU who supports the hijacking of the tea party label to use against the tea party. The same ACU, whose head, Al Cardenas is on record for the gang of 8 amnesty. McConnell’s wife, Elaine Choa is also all about amnesty. McConnell votes with his base on immigration when forced to.

[snip]McConnell scores 66% by USBC on immigration issues

Voted YES on establishing a Guest Worker program.

Voting YES establishes a guest worker program with a path to citizenship for illegal aliens who have worked in the US for 5 years. 2006
Voted YES on allowing more foreign workers into the US for farm work.
Vote to create a national registry containing names of U.S. workers who want to perform temporary or seasonal agricultural work, and to require the Attorney General to allow more foreign workers into the U.S. for farm work under H-2A visas. 1998

The ACU, like CPAC has been taken over by liberal elements. They are the enemy destroying conservatism.

We need to pray for President Obama AND McConnell and all of Congress to get saved.

Why? Don't you want them to be punished, to writhe in Tartarus for all eternity?

McConnell only has a 100% conservative rating from ACU ...

If McConnell is rated 100 at ACU, then there is something severely wrong with ACU's rating. Sounds like they're rating RiNO's higher than they ought to be, to help them out with an increasingly alienated base, as the GOP-e slithers off to the Left, happy to let the Left define means, norms, and standards and keep bulldozing the public leftward. After all, that's the thing to do if you're completely "pragmatic" (flexible notochord instead of a spine) and focused on "getting elected" in a progressively benighted, deracinated, amoral, and doomed country.

No, they wouldn't, and you know that. So why do you post stuff like this, except to attack the base and provide cover and moral support to RiNO's who are more part of the problem than part of the answer?
